SNOW!!

This could delay my fishing plans.  And I have a gun show starting today.  Hmmm.  We're only supposed to get 1-2", but already the roads between here and Memphis are blocked with accidents.  I'll wait until noon to decide whether to chance it, but right now it looks like 'sit and wait'.

Sounds like Sark and Hurts have bonded, and Sark is busily (like a bee) structuring the offense into a championship team.  

Across the nation we're hearing analysts pick Clemson in the upset.    Remember Notre Dame??  LOTS of those idiots picked them, and we went through their defense like Sherman went through Georgia.  Well, we're stronger now!  

Lots of drama among the recruits; rumors and speculation.  We'll know VERY soon if they're all arriving for the early enrollment (yes, I know; some are already enrolled).

Don't remind me of Sherman.

Made it safely to the gun show. It's freezing cold; 15 degrees. The roads are okay, but exit ramps are a mess. And plenty of detritus (car parts and some cars) still litter the roadsides.

Glad you made it, Chech. It's 28 degrees here. That's darn cold for us. No frozen precip and looks like the roads are clear. Will be cranking up that chili today!

Well it is cold and some snow here in Cleburne Co. at Fruithurst. So, rather than going to Anniston to a meeting today I am going lay in the house and read or watch the dogs play. Matter of fact this is their first snow. lol, RTR!

I just got a message from the EMA in Cleburne Co. roads are closed due to the ice until 11 am for all traffic except for needed traffic only. I looked ahead next Saturday here in Fruithurst it is suppose to be 70 degrees. RTR!

It's COLD.  REALLY COLD.  Thermometer says 15 degrees; high yesterday was 22.  

Back to the gun show today.  A few hardy souls went to the show, and we all enjoyed playing with the guns.  Could be a long day today, though.

FOOTBALL:  Last night I watched the second half of last-year's Clemson game.  Clemson scored with 12 seconds left to make it 45-40.  We had a 2-score lead much of the last quarter.  It wasn't easy, but we controlled the finish.

Now the EXPERTS keep saying 'Clemson was just 5 points from winning it all last year'.  It wasn't that close.  We controlled the final quarter, and Clemson pulled a Malzahn-type bs drive from their azzes to make it look close at the end.

Hopefully this year we win by 3 TDs and shut them up.  I'm ready to FINISH!!

Good morning folks.  Cold here too, 13 degrees, but at least we don't have any snow.  I watched the last quarter of that game last night Chech.  Our defense definitely looked tired.  The best part to me though, we still won!

Golly it is cold 14 degrees. Water froze last night forgot to leave it running. The oven part of the stiove went out and I got in floor trying to light the pilot light and it wouldn't light and got my back to hurting and I been up down all night with that thing. I could sure use prayers today for a little easing off of this pain. Chechem you be careful on them roads with that black ice and stay warm. Everybody please be safe today we are gonna hunker down here at home no church today. RTR!

It's 25 degrees here. Too cold for my taste. Will start warming up some tomorrow. Back in the 60's Tuesday. C'mon spring!!!
