I really going through a difficult time right now with the Lord Jesus about his word, and I am about ready to step back from preaching because I can only preach truth, and right now just not sure what it is. Just having one of those times but I feel like it is my fault we Lost the Game. I prayed but my prayers hardly ever get answered but when Mrs Dottie prays she seems to always get answered and I SHOULD have ask her to pray. I am/was wrong and I apologize to the whole Alabama Nation for lack of thing. RTR forever! If I don't see #17 well I seen 16. RTR!

Preacher, I don't think the Lord cares about football. For Heaven's sake don't be blaming yourself. There are a lot more important things than football. Sounds like you're going through some of those right now. Let Dottie and us pray for you. Everything else will take care of itself.

Indeed, Ricky.  You are our spiritual guide here at CRS, but NOBODY blames you for Clemson's win.  And surely you don't think The Lord would worry himself about something as mundane as Alabama football (plus we've been blessed plenty much).

You just stay healthy so you can celebrate with us next season.  Hey, 14-1 ain't bad.  Enjoy the ride.

Brethren I do think your all right. I am not the one I am worrying about my hurt is for our players and coaches who have worked so hard to get our name back on top. I am glad for Dabo I wish it could have been somebody else. I will have to disagree on one thing brethren, I believe GOD is interested with anything we talk to him about. Reason I say this because what is Trivial to me might be very important to you or your family. I know we will be back next year. You all have a Blessed Day and power on like Hammer Down. We have the #1 recruiting class and btw the changing of coaches I don't think had a thing to do with our loss. RTR!

Preacher, remember the apostle Paul's thorn in the flesh?

So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 2 Corinthians 12:7.

 I don't know what that "thorn" was for Paul but I do know that Paul asked God three times to remove it.  God's answer was,

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” verse 9.

 I agree that God doesn't care about the outcome of a football game.  I know that you and probably thousands of other Bama fans probably prayed to Him to let Bama win.  I bet there were probably thousands of Clemson fans that asked Him to let Clemson win too.  God is not a respecter of persons as we read in Acts 10:34.  If he did care whether Bama beat Clemson or Clemson beat Bama then he would be showing respect for the winning team's fans and I don't believe for one second that he would ever do that.

Now, perhaps your health problems are YOUR "thorn" to keep you humble.  If that's so, I say that it is definitely working GREAT.  Keep  your head up my friend and meditate on this last scripture...

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.  I Corinthians 10:13

We are all family here and occasionally need each other's prayers.  You have ours and we all truly appreciate your prayers for us.  I know I do anyways.  We are here for you so don't hesitate to come to us if you need prayers offered.

Good morning Bama family.  Raining here too but at least the temps are warmer.  Should be mid-60's today and I'm ok with that. Tomorrow should be near 70 from what I heard yesterday...  Maybe Preacher will be able to get out and stretch his legs a bit...

NALT it funny you should say stretch your legs I got up this morning and said "Honey I am warm. She said that is a first!" lol. Man it is Alabama weather snow one day and 60's the next but yes sir i will sure take it. I hope all you golfers and outsiders get some good fun in today. I see it is suppose to rain I think. Chechem all this heat in winter you know what that means a lot of times over your way so Praying no weather moves in. Aight, gotta chech around and see who our men did last night in BB.
