Missing the Preacher.

Good morning, #1 RECRUITING CLASS OF THE ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE!

 

Meeting 2 for an early breakfast, then we'll go find those elusive fish.  Yesterday was slow; just a couple of small whiting and THE BIG ONE THAT GOT AWAY.  Hooked up with a 'freight train' of a fish yesterday afternoon (REDFISH?), held on while he ran 100 yards of line off the reel, then on the second run snapped the line.  My fault; drag was too tight.  Bummer.

But today I have KING 2, MASTER of REDFISH.  Success is guaranteed!

Good luck to you and 2.  Cold and windy here this morning.  Went for my walk anyways but kept my coat tightly closed to keep the wind out.  Glad we got the players we did yesterday.  Impressive haul.  Good times ahead for the Crimson Tide...

Nice bait catch there 2 and Chech.  Wish I could have joined you guys but hey, someone has to work...   Maybe the next time the "catch" will be a bit bigger...  Still cold here, 38 when I got to work heading for a high of 44 today.  I've been thinking about Preacher a good bit lately too.  Hope everything is going well for him and he is able to check in soon.  Safe travels to Chech and Preacher.  Also hope everyone has a great weekend.

Our kid's school was featured in a story on the news yesterday.  Over 200 kids have missed classes this week due to illness.  Even our school principle was hospitalized on Tuesday.  He was med-flighted to Huntsville to the hospital.  He was having a stroke apparently.  He is only in his mid-to-late 40's too.  Last I heard he is doing better and hoped to be discharged soon.

       Two counties up here in Tennessee(Overton and Bedford) have shutdown the schools because of norvo and flu.

It's some really bad stuff going around. I had no idea it was that widespread, though. Prayers to everyone who has it.

Lots of fog along the coast this morning, and plenty of rain from Citronelle AL to Meridian MS.  No issues.

2 caught the most fish, and I broke off the only big one we hooked.  Congrats to 2.

Glad you made it home safely. Thoroughly enjoyed our outing yesterday. Let me know when you can come back and I'll try to set aside some time. Maybe Jamos and NALT could make their way down here for it, or anybody else that would like to come, for that matter.
