I haven't been out doors but it is cold. Guess winter hasn't left us yet. RTR!

Did you get any snow, Preacher?

If we did there has been nothing after daylight. The ground is to warm for anything to stay I think. Weather dot com says it is suppose to be in the 50's today. I guess we shall see. RTR!

Coffee

COLD RAIN.  Wintery weather is back for a few days.  Snow just north of Memphis, but not here.  Where is spring??

Had a good day at the gun show.  Lots of good visiting and some good buys; nothing special.  Stopped to visit a friend on the way home last night, and sat by a campfire with him and other friends to enjoy a pork shoulder he'd cooked.  Delicious.  Slept like a baby!

Raining again here this morning. Looks like maybe an all day event.  Sad

Glad your gun show and friend visit went well, Chech. I just took a down day yesterday and didn't hit a lick at anything except the remote control. I feel rested today.

Good morning folks.  It is cold here too.  Chech, close your door and keep all that cold air over there because Preacher and I DON'T WANT IT...  Wink

I came to work late today. I normally get here between 5 and 5:30 but start to work at 6.  This morning I took the kids to school so I could talk with the principle.  On Friday my daughter's boyfriend got angry because some girl told him that S was going to break up with him.  He pulled out his pocket knife and started cutting himself.  He also said (with my oldest son hearing it) that "Monday I'm going to bring an AR to school and solve some problems."  Of course, my genius son DID NOT say anything to any teachers or Admin until the end of the school day even though he heard this first thing in the morning... Anyways, it was all over Facebook this weekend and even a lady from church was asking me what's going on.  When I got to school this morning the Superintendent was there along with a deputy and investigator from the sheriff's office.  I also spoke with the "acting" principle as well as the Super.  The Super said they have a meeting scheduled with this boy and his mother this morning at 8:30.  I'll call the acting principle later today to see if the boy will be allowed back at school ever...

Well, I'm glad the word got out, NALT. No such thing as being too careful anymore when it comes to threats from school kids. Hopefully, they won't let him back. The boy's got some serious issues.

Yes, he does.  Did I mention that he is known to be a drug abuser?  Or that he has been in serious trouble at a previous school already?  My question to the Superintendent this morning was "What about tomorrow, or next week?"  "What if he decides to sit up in the woods next to the softball field with his AR?  How will the school keep my daughter safe then?"   Crickets...

First off this morning "I am declaring the protection of JESUS Christ" over NALT's children and all the others on the school with the admin. and I pray this young man gets help for his situation. heck here it is simple rain or snow and it doesn't matter with the temp at 35 right now. RTR!

His threat needs to be taken seriously, and he needs to be arrested; taken out of the school and off the streets. Did the principal have any kind of plan of action?

The Superintendent told me that they were to have a meeting with the boy and his mother this morning at 8:30.  I'm sure that if the kid and his mother actually showed up then the meeting consisted of them, the Superintendent, and two different "acting" principles since our regular principle is out on medical leave.  Oh, and I also expect the sheriff's investigator that I saw at school this morning would also be involved in the meeting.  If a determination was made that he actually did say and do what has been alleged then the sheriff's investigator would likely have cuffed him on the spot.  Time will tell I suppose.

Will do.  I've been trying to call the school to talk with the acting principle but the one line they have has been busy...
