Chech is on the road, NALT, but heading home today. Maybe the warmup will get the fish biting!  Laughing

Hope life at school calms soon, buddy. That whole mess stinks.

Safe travels, Chech. Watch out for narrow bridges.

Ok, I'm officially tired of this cold weather. I'm ready for spring. It was warmer in February than in March. What's up with that?  Angry

Well, so far so good.  The boy is locked up in Juvie until he sees a judge.  No idea when that might be.  Lots of rumors flying around are keeping my oldest boy scared of his own shadow...

What was the thug doing across the street from the school?  This was the day after he was kicked out, correct?  I would be highly suspicious as to what he was up to, even if he didn't have a gun at that time.

Yeah, that is a good question.  And though I don't know for sure, I would guess that since his days for the most part the last several years were spent with "friends" at school then he wanted to still stay close to them.  Or maybe he was wanting to see his (ex) girlfriend, my daughter...

NALT Mrs Dottie and I are praying for the safety of yours and those other kids also that this young man will get his stuff together and grow up. Maybe his dad needs to bust the dust on the seat of his pants and that will change. RTR!

We're finally home.  Had fun in Vicksburg; visited the museums and the battlefield.  Lots of azaleas and dogwoods blooming there.

NALT, the boy did y'all a favor.  Maybe he'll stay away now!

Nice image, but few Yanks ever got that close.  The boys in gray picked them off as they charged up a steep hill.  Those 2 charges on May 19 and May 22, 1863 were among of Gen. Grants' most stupid decisions.  There are 50 (fifty! LF counted) Illinois monuments to the Yanks who died trying to attack fortified positions.  Instead, rats and yellow fever eventually won the battle for the Union.

Preacher, I think that is the root of this kid's problem.  From what I know of him he doesn't really have much in the way of parenting.  No discipline, no love.  I think he is really in a bad situation and that isn't necessarily his fault.

Coffee

Stayed up waaaaaaay too late watching bb last night.  Arizona, Iowa State, and Wisconsin won.  Hopefully I won't stay up that late again tonight!  Good games, though; not many upsets this year.

At least Florida won their game yesterday.  The SEC has a rough road ahead in this tournament!

Thanks for the offer.  I know my good buddies here at CRS would never let me down.  With that in mind...How about having one of these delivered to my house so I can make sure that punk doesn't even get close...
