Hope life at school calms soon, buddy. That whole mess stinks.

Well, so far so good.  The boy is locked up in Juvie until he sees a judge.  No idea when that might be.  Lots of rumors flying around are keeping my oldest boy scared of his own shadow...

What was the thug doing across the street from the school?  This was the day after he was kicked out, correct?  I would be highly suspicious as to what he was up to, even if he didn't have a gun at that time.

Yeah, that is a good question.  And though I don't know for sure, I would guess that since his days for the most part the last several years were spent with "friends" at school then he wanted to still stay close to them.  Or maybe he was wanting to see his (ex) girlfriend, my daughter...

It would make me very angry if something happened to your daughter. Please keep an eye on the idiot as we read too many stories about high school idiots doing stupid things these days.

Thanks Jamos, seriously.  If he were to sneak into school or a softball game and hurt her I would be more than angry.  I won't go into detail about what I'd try to do but trust me, it wouldn't be pretty to watch and it would be even worse (for him) to experience...

Hey it seems to be warmer today than yesterday. maybe some warm weather will move in. I want wish everybody well on their picks in the BB Tourney. RTR!

Rained overnight.  There was a chance of severe storms, but seems they passed quietly.  Looks like it'll be rainy all across northern Mississippi and Alabama this morning.



House-building day.  Flooring is done, so today I tackle the baseboards.  Lots of time on the floor.

Good morning folks.  I woke up early this morning when Chech's storms rolled through around 3:00.  Went back to sleep and then got up around 5.  Went to the gym to work out then back home.  Mrs. Nalt has plans for us to go to Burrett On the Mountain (used to be called Burrett Museum) for a Civil War Re-enactment.  Should be interesting...

Frustrating day at the house.  Started the baseboards, then my nail gun stopped working.  The firing pin seems to jam.  Had to switch to nails and hammer; now I've got a sore finger and thumb.

BEAUTIFUL afternoon yesterday; up to 73 here! 
Flowers blooming everywhere, and a yard full of weeds. 

My bracket is busted.  I have a bunch of teams still in it, and my final 4 are good, but I missed on almost every game yesterday.  Doh!  LF is still thriving, however.  She's a picking machine!

Good morning folks.  Beautiful morning here today so I'm looking forward to a very nice afternoon.

The re-enactment yesterday was a yuuuuge disappointment.  We got there and there was about 9 or 10 "soldiers" dressed up sitting around talking.  We went over and spoke with one young guy that was very nice.  He let the boys hold his brand new .58 caliber smoke pole.  We took pics of them all with it and him.  He told us that they might or might not do anything.  They didn't.  Just sat around talking for the most part...

So, I'm sorry but I don't have any pics of the re-enactment...
