Ya'll been to Westminster Abbey?  Like all of those old churches, etc in Europe, you're walking on bodies.  The floor is full of dead people.  Wonder if she's thinking that while standing over them at the altar?

yes, but I was REALLY hungover, there's nothing left of most of the bodies.  Who was the last person interred there?

The Dean of Westminster must give his permission for all burials and monuments in the Church. Ashes only are permitted. People who have served the Abbey in an official capacity, such as a Dean, a Canon, Organist or Surveyor of the Fabric may be buried here and eminent persons of British nationality from various fields may be considered. The last poet interred was John Masefield in 1967, and Laurence Olivier, actor, was buried here in 1991.

Not surprisingly, the website sucks.  I had to go to the FAQ to find the above.

Thanks.  Ashes only?  When did that start?  Must be new.
I visited a cathedral in Italy 2 years ago (numerous ones actually), and there were pics of a flood that washed up all of the stiffs.

Who Is Buried There?

Virtually every royal burial for the nearly 500 years between the deaths of Henry III in 1272 and George II in 1760 took place in Westminster Abbey. The two notable exceptions were Henry VIII and Charles I, both of whom were buried at Windsor Castle. (All monarchs from George III onwards have since been interred at Windsor.)
