Happy Easter everybody! I don't hide eggs anymore because my grandson and his friends never find them all and I forget where I hid them until a few days later when they get ripe.

 Laughing Those were the days!!!

Tough day yesterday for Bama sports. The softball and baseball teams both lost 3-2, and the gymnastics team finished dead last in the Super Six NC.

 Sad

I pretty much figured the gymnastics team wouldn't fair well in the final six competition, they are not the same tough type squad that Sara Patterson put out all those years but it was a good accomplishment for them to make the final six.

Happy Easter and thank you all.
This morning I got to be apart of something so humbling tears just shed at ease. We had one police officer lead us and the church van to follow us and we started at the upper end of Heflin and carried a Cross on our shoulders and walked about 3 to 4 miles to our church Calvary Baptist. This was the first time I was able to participate and I just can not imagine what it was like when Jesus carried such a heavy cross so far for me and you. God Bless you all. Have a great day. RTR!

Good morning, CRS.  Coffee
Gevalia Coffee this morning; tastes great!

Back to work on the deck again this morning.  Tearing off the old decking is time consuming, but took a leap forward yesterday when we switched to metal-cutting blades on the reciprocating saw (instead of prying up the boards).  We've put down over 100 2x4s, and have 300 to go.  Then the railings and steps...

Lots of good birds in the yard now: wood thrush, great-crested flycatcher, hummingbirds, warblers (Northern Parula yesterday), gnatcatchers...
Enjoying seeing them again.

Good morning folks.  Preacher, I'm glad that you were able to participate in that but I hope you didn't cause yourself any further pain.  Chech, you need my oldest boy to get those old boards up.  He is a good worker as long as you minimize the distractions and feed him A LOT... We had a very good weekend but I am glad that it is over.  We are supposed to get some rain this afternoon/evening.  I'm looking forward to this next Saturday as I will be visiting with about 102,000 of my closest friends hopefully.  Mrs. Nalt said something last night about some possibly bad weather coming for Saturday though...

Oh, I hope not. I've got the whole fam damily coming with.  It's still a little early for the prediction to be dead on. Looking forward to seeing everybody.

That is what I thought when she said it.  Course, I didn't tell her that because I like not having lumps on my head... Lips Sealed

Well first it is a great morning and yes NALT, I am really sore in my legs and ankles and more so than my back if you can believe it. My Prayer this week is that SATURDAY will turn out rain free for all of you and that the temps will be good. I do want it to be a beautiful day. Everybody have a great day. RTR!

I just looked at the 10 day forecast for Tuscaloosa. Only a 20% chance of rain for Saturday.
