Good morning.  

We had heavy rain with thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and last night.  About an inch of rain.  This morning it's damp, drippy, and foggy out there.

Back to work on the deck again today.  We've put down almost half of the 400 boards; moving along pretty well considering our ages.  Lots of bending and kneeling (like Catholics!).  The deck is 60' x 13', plus a lower deck that's 15' x 15'.  The old wood looked okay until we started taking it up; much has rot.

Hoping to get most of it done before leaving for Tuscaloosa on Friday.  Be good to visit with you guys.

BTW, went on funnymaine.com to buy tickets for the Saturday night show; don't see how to buy them.  Anybody had luck getting tickets?  We still doing this event?

Ordered the tickets, albeit late.  Just hope they arrive in mail before Friday.

I'm planning on being there with 4 kids.  Looking forward to seeing all of you and the rest of my 102,000+ friends.  Just wish somehow that Preacher and Mrs. Dottie could make it too...

Good morning folks.  We got some rain yesterday afternoon and during the night but it wasn't much.  Probably going to get more today.  Just found out that a friend of mine from a private Florida Gator's message board has bladder cancer.   I think he has a good outlook and future but still, it is cancer and cancer sucks.  Prayers for Bill, even though he is a staunch Gator fan will be much appreciated.

Chech, since we will have my grandson with us, we are forgoing the comedian. We should be at the tailgating spot about 10:30-11:00. It is across the street and a block closer to the stadium from Pitts. Looking forward to seeing you, Red Elephant, NALT and the 4 NALTlets, Mr & Mrs Jamos, and everybody else that can make their way there.

Prayers today for you all. It is a beautiful day. Mrs Dottie is hurting bad today can't be at the store. Chiro doctor said her hip is twisted so he is working on her as well with her medication. Praying everybody has a great time and weather Saturday. RTR!

Good morning. 

Thoroughly enjoying the warm weather, and even the rain we had yesterday.  Still working on the new deck, and all of the lifting and bending is taking a toll, but the finished product will be very nice.  The neighbor brought her 2 grandsons over to sit and watch; young'uns who like loud noises like nail guns and circular saws.

Preacher, our thoughts and prayers are with you and Dottie.  May she be pain free starting today.

Anyways, Chech, don't overdo it with this construction project.  We don't want you to be too worn out this Saturday.  Preacher, I hope and pray that you and Mrs. Dottie are better today and no longer in pain.   2, some friends of mine from New York state are in Pensacola this week visiting their daughter.  Tell them I said hi.  He is a big guy with tattoos all over his body, a former U.S. Marine.  she is a really short, round woman.  Wonderful people.

Yankees in Pensacola? Call out the State Militia!  I hope they have a good time here. The weather is perfect.

A Day is almost upon us and still lots of talk about the QBs and RBs. Can't wait to see them in action.

Hey Jamos, how early can we get to the designated rendezvous parking lot this Saturday?  I know the game doesn't start until 2:00 which means we need to be there before that.  I'm thinking about leaving the house with time enough to get down there between 11 and 12.

Well today is a new day and brighter start. Thanks for all the prayers everybody. I just look forward to hearing about all the fun on Saturday. Keep our chin up our softball and baseball teams will get better. RTR!
