Butterfly mornings to you all.  Coffee

It was hot yesterday afternoon, so at least Ricky enjoyed it.  But I'll take that over cold!  It was a good day, and I worked outside making the most of it.

LF's flowers have sprouted.  Soon the planters on the new deck will be a showplace (showpacle?).  She has 12' of planters, and put in 5 packets of seeds plus some gladiolus corms!



Enjoy the outdoors.  This beautiful weather can't last forever!

Good hump Day morning!

The Birmingham pitcher didn't disappoint last night. He pitched 6 full innings and gave up 1 run on 3 hits. The Juggs gun showed him at 97 MPH once and a few 96 MPH pitches, but nothing higher than that, even though they announced right after the game, that he hit 100 MPH. If he did, it was with a hidden gun that didn't show on the scoreboard. Anyway, B'ham won 4-1.

Gonna be another glorious day. Y'all enjoy!

Boy it is grand this morning although I had to turn the heat on for a bit. This Plavix just makes me cold. I have to keep this up till November I was told last year when I had my heart attack. Anyway yall have a safe and Blessed day. Looking forward to more May flowers. We have 2 sets of redbirds hanging around our porch this year and what seems to be 2 sets of Blue birds. I haven't seen any Hummingbirds yet. RTR!

The hummingbirds were here a week ago, Ricky, but we have none right now.  They'll be back soon.

This little guy (Carolina Chickadee) was caught in our garage, panicked, and exhausted himself until ole Chech snatched him from the air and set him in a bush to recover.  He soon flew away:

It's 70 degrees at 4:30 in the morning.  WTH??  Storms coming later today. 

Hope you have all enjoyed the beautiful weather, because it's coming to an end today (for us) and tomorrow (for those east of here).  Hunker down, my friends.

Good news for Jarez Parks, a DE (top 100 player) offered a grayshirt by Alabama.  He may have a position at Bama this fall after all.  Other schools are still after him, so hopefully it'll work out.

Oh, the Bama softball team beat Arky (4-1) and Ole Miss beat MSU in the tournament.  Bama plays A&M next.

Alabama's softball team finally looked like champions today.  Best they've looked in any game I've seen this year.  Bama beat A&M 2-1 in 10 innings.

And Ole Miss just knocked off #1 Florida 2-0.  First time they've beaten UF in 9 tries, and only the 2nd time UF was shut out ALL YEAR!

 

So, it's Bama vs Ole Miss in the next round.
