Yesterday was Mrs 2's birthday and today's Mothers Day.

Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers!

Best of luck, 2.  You've got a tough day ahead!!

BTW, here's a worse one.  My neighbor, who's about 50, yesterday was painting his new shed from a ladder.  A wasp stung him, and he fell; ON HIS WIFE.  Compression fracture of her lower vertebrae.  She was released from the hospital last night.
HE WILL HAVE A VERY TOUGH DAY TODAY!!

Holy cow!!!  Shocked Talk about a freak accident!

2, how much did you lose on the golf course to go along with the double whammy.  Laughing

Chech, the Ole Miss girls are for real. I am very impressed with their coach, I wish Bama had him.

Have a great day everyone. Pray Cheesy

I spent the day yesterday in Florence with my family. My youngest daughter graduated from UNA. She went to college as a shy freshman. Once she got there she matured. She was active in Campus Outreach, a local church, Phi Mu Sorority, worked in the campus mail room and graduated with honors. She got her degree in Elementary and Special Education. She is going to make an outstanding teacher. She struggled with what she was going to do after college. She was torn between becoming a missionary, going on staff with Campus Outreach or making a difference in young peoples life as a special needs teacher. She has decided to teach. To say I am proud of her would be an understatement.

Congrats to you and her, pmull. You have a lot to be proud of. You've obviously done a good job of raising your girls.

Good morning.  Coffee

We had a fun time yesterday.  LF wanted breakfast at the new bagel pacle in Oxford, so we went.  Indeed, they were tasty; New York-style bagels.  Yesterday afternoon we joined friends at a crawfish boil; graduation celebration for a friend.  Quite a party: crawfish, shrimp, pork roast, sausage, roasted vegetables, beer, wine, desserts galore...

Today we work on my friend's deck again.  The posts and rim joists are ready, and today the lumber for the floor joists arrives.  That should go pretty fast; joist hangers.  Then the deck boards...  If all goes well it should be finished by noon, BUT WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT GOES!!

Bama's baseball team got a good start yesterday, jumping out 1-0 on Florida.  I turned it off after Florida was ahead 7-1.
 Sad

Enjoy the day.  Another beauty!!

Good morning folks.  A beautiful sunrise this morning just after 5:30 here.  I wish I could spend the day out doors enjoying the day.

Pmull, congrats to your daughter.  She sounds like a very level-headed young woman and I know you are extremely proud. Congrats to you too since you got a raise with her graduation...  Wink

I hope you all are able to enjoy today.

Mrs 2 had a wonderful birthday/Mothers Day weekend. We had Mothers Day lunch at my oldest daughter's house. Stuffed Chicken breasts, mashed potatoes made with cream cheese, and steamed broccoli.  Tongue

A big nap was held afterwards, then finished up the afternoon watching the Players Championship golf tournament. Si Woo Kim put on a short game clinic, not to be believed, to win the tourney. Congrats to him. Only one word of advice for him' if he's going to continue to live in Dallas, he really needs to learn to speak English.

Why?  Does, "안녕 얘들 아." not work in Dallas?

He could at least practice his "Y'all". And the exhibition he put on yesterday would have been several perfect "Hold my beer" moments.
