Man we got a big time storm last night but no damage. Sunny and cool this morning. Mrs Dottie slept better last night maybe the pain management is helping a bit, thanks for the prayers everyone. Looks like a day of cutting grass and just resting some after that. Get ready for visitation tonight. Well I am wondering what time is practice starting next week? RTR!

I need to mow the lawn today too, but it's too wet now.

Practice starts Thursday, as I recall.

Correctly termed "rained in".

Good evening everyone.  Yes, I mowed grass today.  Was planning on mowing at church (~2 acres) then going over to an older couple's house to cut the weeds in their ditch and do a bit of clean-up around their yard.  When I got there I found out they wanted me to mow the whole place (About another 2 acres).  Then I went over to Dad's house to mow his yard.  Was planning on double-teaming up with the youngest daughter riding Dad's mower while I ran mine but when we got there I was unable to start his mower because of a dead battery.  Dad has 3 acres but only about 2-1/2 that is mowed.  At least the weather wasn't too hot today.  I think the high temp was high 80's with a nice breeze... Sorry you got rained out of getting to play golfball today 2.  Preacher, I'm glad that Ms. Dottie is able to rest more comfortably.  Chech, I hear that squirrels cooked with gravy goes pretty  well with nice ripe tomato's...  Good to see Jamos dropping in again too.

Good morning, all.  Sunday.  Coffee

NALT, I mowed my yard yesterday too.  But you set a record it seems; mowing 6-7 acres!!  Wow.  Such generosity.  E-cred for you again this morning.

No squirrels died yesterday; no tomatoes stolen either.  Life is good.

Can't get over the DUI arrest.  Our players insist on making football difficult.  WTH?

Have a good day, everyone: church, golf, beach, relaxation, etc.  It's cooler here, so we'll get outside and enjoy the summer day.

Morning all!

Well, I actually ended up playing golf yesterday afternoon. All the rain headed our way fizzled out before it reached us. We've had plenty of rain anyway.

NALT, you had quite a day yesterday. Glad you didn't have to do it all with a push mower. You'd still be cutting grass.

Chech, I'm sure the squirrel community enjoyed the cease fire yesterday. Maybe they're getting the message.

Good morning folks.  I slept like a baby last night with the exception that I didn't pee on myself.  I'm still tired though.  Nice relaxing afternoon today.  After church we are going to a pot luck dinner with the folks from church to say goodbye to one family and to welcome two other couples.  After that I have to install a drawer in Dad's travel trailer pantry closet.  I just don't get it.  Dad could buy a brand new Rolex watch and within a month he would figure something out that he needs me to either fix or alter...  Oh well, if it makes him happy then I'll finish the job for him... And just so you all know, no squirrels will be harmed in the installation of this drawer...

I slept like a baby too: woke up crying every 2 hours!

I slept like a baby too. The way I played golf yesterday, wore me out. I might as well have cut NALT's dad's yard with a pair of scissors.
