Greetings from Cullman, in North Alabama!

I think the weather is making me a bit lazy.  I just sat a while on the deck with a book.
The sun is so warm and the day is so bright!  I love these blue, blue skies.

The cooler temperature last night was fine with me.  It wouldn't be football season otherwise.

Yep, this is prime football weather.  It is the most wonderful time of the year!

Good morning folks.  I was able to enjoy another beautiful full moon on the drive in this morning.  I'm still not liking these cooler temps.  Hope you all are safe and happy.  From the looks of some of the maps, Irma is going to wipe out about 70% of the state of Florida and then rip into Georgia...

My businesses partner is heading back to Jacksonville this morning. I'm trying to convince him to pick up his family and come back up here. If Irma hoes up the spine of Florida, it will be catastrophic for all of the state except the Panhandle. Nobody needs to take this hurricane lightly. It's a bad lama jama.

I agree.  They are reporting that at least 10 deaths have occurred because of Irma.  If it follows the path that I've seen there will be many more than that just in Florida I'm afraid...

I'm praying for the for the flights to be cancelled, 57. I think that would take less of a miracle than eradicating stupidity.

Your daughter is in my prayers bama57.  I would love to enjoy this day but my mind is on all the poor people and animals trying to outrun Irma. 

I have close relatives in Brunswick, Ga.  He and his wife have been offered an empty house 2 hours west of them to wait out the hurricane.  They are planning to leave after the Florida traffic has calmed down....maybe even Sunday.  They are not young, I am worried about them.  He is not a sentimental type and will probably make Anne leave her precious cat behind in the house.

Well it has been a beautiful day here in East Alabama. Had a touch of frost on the knob this morning.
Mrs Dottie and I have been praying all day that the people in Fla will run and get cover and be safe. We was in Andrew in 1992 and if this thing is worse than Andrew nobody will be safe near this thing. RTR!

I know that the Tide will have an extremely adverse effect on Fresno State.
