I have nothing against tatted women. I don't care a great deal for snakes, but I understand their importance. Hence, last resort in ridding of either.

:chortle: Seems I remember that. When I was a deputy in Tenn., one of the patrol guys was the toughest SOB I've ever known. One day we get a call and he answers the phone. I hear him say "yes mam, someone will be right out". He dispatched another deputy to assist an elderly lady in ridding of a snake by her back door. I said "Whit you're closer to it than Tim, why didn't you go?" He said "I don't do snakes". Turns out he was scared to death of them.

I don't own a hoe but I do have a 12ga. shotgun

hooking to boat and one started hissing at me
it was laying under a bush by the side of the boat
so I grabbed the 12 and popped him

neighbor runs over "WHAT YOU SHOOTING ?"
a snake I reply
he sees the dead snake and goes to telling me for 5
minutes what all the snake does ...
eats this , does that , blah , blah , blah ... then says
"you shouldn't have shot him"   

I looked at him and said ...
"look man I didn't ask the snake for ID ok"
"I don't know what kind he is and don't care"
"he hissed at my azz and I killed him end of story"
"but if you want him take him , all three pieces"
"I'm going fishing !"

I was fishing with my FIL in Opp one time when a water moccasin tried to get in the boat from the water. My FIL grabbed an oar and started swinging. After smacking me a couple of times he finally landed a few crushing blows to the snake. To this day, I've accused him of hitting me on purpose.
