Yes. We used to shoot pool and keep the tourist off him at the Flor-Bama.

You guys ever meet Stabler?

Yes. I meet him at the Pink Pony Pub in the early 80's. In the off season he always hung out at the bars around Gulf Shores.

I was bouncer at the Pink Pony for a couple years (mid 80's). Going through a divorce to EXBAMAWV (cannot recall her name). Lost a beach house in that deal. Bounced at night, rented boats, worked at International Paper in Mobile-(lock out situation). Oil field was down, and Gulf Shores was great divorce therapy. LOL

Do you remember the flash bowling game at the Pink Pony. It was like a pool table. The winner would play the next guy up for a beer. Usaually it was two man teams. We would play that game till they they turned the lights on telling us it was time to go.

Not really. No games in PP by the time I worked their. Juke and cig machine. I liked flash bowling. Also the real long, shuffleboard game.

I am talking late 70's. It was before Hurricane Frederick. It was the old wooden building before they built it back out of concrete. It wasn't the same place after Frederick hit and they build Gulf Shores up. The Gulf Gate Lodge was big on Sunday's. For $1 you could joint the private club.
