1. Sounds good to me.  PARTY !!!

2. I've been out front measuring the ditch and culvert with Lady.  So much info to consider.

3. Cinco de Mayo?  "Mazal tov."

4. Use a fishing rod and reel to start a line over the limb.  Put a fishing weight or something easy to cast that you can see.  It might take a few tries, but it works.  Then work an increasingly larger line over the limb (tie the line to the fishing line, then heavier line, etc.).  I've done this.  You can cast over the entire tree if you want to.  I've used a golf ball (embedded a small eyebolt in it for attaching line), but it takes heavier monofilament (25# test) for something as heavy as a golf ball.

Well, WV, the alternatives aren't pretty.  We could:

1. Kidnap your bony butt and haul you there (wife might fall for that);
2. Dredge up the entire 15-acre island and a few million gallons of seawater, and deliver it to your back yard in WV.
3. [this is really far fetched] Invite your woman.

Not much of a pic, but this (if you look closely) is the head of a hawk that swooped down and ate the Indigo Bunting on the feeder.  Cat would have gotten at least 2.  The hawk took it to the ground, and I couldn't get but this one pic before it flew away.  Probably a Sharpshinned Hawk.
