Leave it to me to screw up a beautiful morning.
Lady Friend says we're going to a Kentucky Derby party this afternoon.  This morning I'll help my buddy rework his RR depot house.  You?

I dont think you screwed it up at all.  I thought it was neat.

Some work in the back yard.  I need to get the front in a good pacle before I leave.

Fresh mint in a flower bed beside house. Highly evasive.

That front swamp will take a lot of fill, but you're well on the way.  Are you going to seed it?

The mint keeps dodging the Roundup sprayer?  LOL, invasive?  I think I understand.

I've put well over 100 yards down there.  I think we're close actually.  Lowering the ditch down seems to have dropped the water table slightly.

With the money I am about to have coming in, I will likely sod the front and back once I am done.

RR Depot

We have a scenic rr a few miles away. A lot of locals have worked there all their working life. They collect all kinds of rr memorabilia. Number plates from engines a hot item. Steam whistles. I have some old switch locks and other items. I've driven the trains around in the yard. Coal fired, steam driven Shay engines from the logging era.

That's too bad.  I'm not ready.  We'll see how it goes, something will pop up.

I like trains.  Especially old steam engines.

Unfortunately, the photo gallery of the RR museum isn't working.

I just bought some RR stuff at an antique store in Virginia.  It's a box of old brass RR locks (socket-wrench mechanism on the bottom) and brass, RR-box keys.  They're stamped with abbreviations of the company names.  Thought I'd sell them at gun shows.  Oddities sell there.

My buddy's house is a fix-it-up pacle his gf bought this winter.  It was the Abbeville, MS depot.  Then it was moved a half mile to its new location about 1950.  We tore out the old bathroom last weekend to enlarge and insulate it.
