Today looks nice outside, but it's warm here too: 66 now.  It's supposed to be about 85 today.

I've got to spend the morning packing for the trip.  Fortunately I have a list of everything I need.

Sent yellow roses to woman and Mom for MD. Hope they don't get the message cards reversed. Last year I was going to Family Dollar for a card. A local guy said,"Hey, will you pick me up one, too?" lol This year he called and said he was going to pick out a card, "I need two".

I was in a guys office one day when his secretary said, "Your Mother is on the line." He said, "Take a number."

Is your list hand written?  Or is it printed out with check boxes?

You phd's are all alike.  Grin

I keep the list on my computer.  All alike?  Guilty.  Grin

I've made this trip more than 20 times.  It's an isolated island, so if I need something for fishing I'd better have it with me.  Other than that, it's just a list from Aralen (meds.) to Ziplock bags.

Did you sort it by alphabet in a spreadsheet or manually?

It's just a word file.  If you need further instruction, I'll have to charge you. Kiss

Sure.  If I come up missing, you guys immediately will spring into action on a S&R mission, raid my cabana, steal my stuff, and probably drink my rum.  Angry

LOL.   Applause E-Cred

I've simplified my packing over the years, and now travel with just 2 medium-sized bags.  Dive gear and fishing stuff fills one.  Plus, seems everyone down there has some item they need and can't get in Belize.  This year I'm taking three 25' tape measures for a carpenter.  He's rebuilding the dining hall this summer.  Can't buy 25' tapes there apparently, just 16'.

When I lived in Gulf Shores, I found the watertight bottle thingy that you wear around your neck handy. O ring sealed.

One of those backpack things with the tube?
The island is only 15 acres, and I seldom walk farther than 200m from my room.  And when boating I have a cooler with drinks.  But I am curious about the thing you mean.

Is it REALLY daylight there?  Is the sun peeking up yet, or just dawn?

Trying to find image. Just a small watertight container with a rope/nylon necklace for money, bic lighter, etc. About the size of a boat key floatee.

BTW, one of the nice things about the island is that boat keys are the only keys there.  Nothing locks.  The cabanas have doors with handles, but no locks at all.  My door is seldom even closed.  Cat likes to come and go during the night.  She catches rats sometimes in the neighbor's brush pile, and proudly brings them for me to see.  It's embarrassing.
