I had a Rheem AC, gas furnace and cooling coils installed today. My original Carrier unit was 19 years old and struggling to keep up in the heat of summer. I am told the new unit will save me money eventually. I am ready for the savings to start since I wrote that big check today. I checked out several brands and settled with Rheem. I hope I made a wise choice.

That "it'll pay for itself"  sales pitch is great. Hell, give me 10 of 'em.[/b] No AC needed here. Maybe 3 or 4 days a summer, but by night time you'll need a sweatshirt.

I didn't buy that pitch either. The gas heater was fine. The old AC struggled in the heat of an Alabama summer. It wasn't un comfortable but the AC ran all day and I would wake up at 3:00 in the morning freezing. The power bills have been getting higher and higher. I am trying to convince myself I made a good decision. I wish the the old unit would have just quit.

I need a new one too.  I supplement with a window unit and it helps a lot.

I called. Noticed they hadn't made any hole all evening. Section of the well where we have built angle toward corner of lease, then rolled it back the other direction to go lateral from one corner of lease to another. He knows to back ream through that section, and he said he did. Ordering rig soap.

I gotta rest for a while.  Try and get some sleep before I see you around 0330 CDT

btw, I did 100' today in 2' increments, we were short so it was just me and the driller.  That would be average production for 2 drillers and a geologist with a helper.

M. Yeah. I laid down around 2am after they got our MWD tool back. The set of jars did the trick thanks to Smith LOL. When (offshore) those jars go off 15,000 ft. deep (+/- 3 miles away from rig), it will almost knock you out of your bunk.lol
