Good morning folks.  Not sure what we have planned for this afternoon except that my BIL is supposed to bring his tractor up this afternoon and unload an old sickle mower from my trailer.  Looks to be another beautiful day...then the rain is supposed to return with a vengence tomorrow...

Don't despair, NALT. Think of all the grass that will grow because of the rain.

  Good point.  But then, since we sold Dad's house I lost those 3 acres of mowing so I might need to try and find additional yards to mow.  And since I wasn't getting paid to mow Dad's pacle any extra yards I could get would be extra $$ in my pocket...

Still looking for someone to mow mine while I'm at Yellowstone this summer.  LF said she'll do it, but I know I'll be better off paying someone than ..... well, you know.

Well it is was frosty this morning. I went down to Newell, Al. this morning to Antioch baptist Church to speak to the fellowship there. It was good and had blessed food. Best bacon I ever eat. You all have a Blessed and Safe day. RTR!

I've never heard bacon called blessed before, but I agree.

Good morning, all. 

Rain has returned.  Heavy rain expected later today; now we've got drizzle.

Prayers to 2 and his family this morning.  Hope the medical procedure for 2's daughter goes well.

No fishing yesterday after all.  I went over to help my buddy renovate his house, but we never finished the jobs.  We'd planned to fish at his lake after we completed hanging a door in the bedroom, but the door frame of the old house wasn't square, the floor wasn't level, and the heavy old door he'd selected was a bear to work with.  By the time we finished it was dark.  But it's DONE!

Sorry you didn't get to go fishing yesterday. D and I worked on the pool most of the day. It wasn't get the flow it should have and the pump was louder than normal. I backwashed it several times, but even that wasn't working right.

So we took the pump apart and pulled out some leaves and acorns that were lodged in there. We put the pump back together, but nothing changed. I backwashed it again and after a couple of minutes, everything freed up and the flow was back. The pump was back to being the whisper it's supposed to be. WOOOT!!!

We celebrated with me cooking some chicken wings on the grill. They were yummy.

Glad you got your pool pump fixed 2.  Hope all goes well with the youngun today.  Chech, did y'all level the floor before you squared/installed the door?

Wow concrete has to be really level before a door is installed especiall an external door of 3'0 door. RTR!

Well,my daughter's system wasn't clear so they sent her home. She has to return in the morning to try it again. Mrs 2 and I are spent.
