Preacher, I know you don't go to JSU but you live in that area.  You and Mrs. Dottie need to be extra careful.  Two students at JSU have been in contact with the person in Georgia that has the Corona virus.

Good Saturday morning!

Well, while we're saying our prayers, say one for my buddy in Kentucky. Apparently, when he came to Pensacola last week, he got bit on the ankle by a snake when we were playing golf. He has neuropathy and didn't feel it. Anyway, a blister formed on his shin and burst open. It kept growing and when he got back to Kentucky, he went to the doctor.

The doctor told him he had cellulitis, caused from infection, and they infused him with antibiotics. My buddy just spotted the fang marks last night and surmises that it was the cause of the infection. Anyway, it is much worse and he is headed to the emergency room.

Seems everybody is dealing with health issues here lately.

Dang, 2, a snake bite!  Never heard of someone getting one undetected.  Very weird!  Prayers that he recovers fast and completely.

Same for NALT's MIL.   

Bama won in 13 innings last night to stay undefeated.  A walk-off wild pitch.   

We went out to eat.  Not exciting, but just watching people interacting and the way the food is handled showed how much this virus is affecting everyday life.  Wow.

I'm going to the Ole Miss baseball game this afternoon.  They beat Princeton last night.  Be good to see the sun!

Yeah, we had that wind all day yesterday.  Still chilly today, but should be good enough for baseball.

I see Florida had 2 corona deaths.

In a month when the weather is warmer, we'll hear less and less about the coronavirus.

Hope so.  But the virus expert told us last night at dinner that the "summer-temperature sensitivity" is conjecture; not proven.  He added that nobody yet knows how long it is viable on surfaces like tabletops; estimates range from 2 hours to 9 days.
 

BTW, I talked with our financial guy yesterday.  Everyone's investments took quite a hit, and that won't be back within a month; maybe not within a year!  This was a major adjustment by the DOW, and the shortage of Chinese supplies will hit our manufacturing companies next month (and the next).

Good morning folks.  Runt and I went to church this morning to help  the other men do some clean-up, landscape maintenance, mowing, etc.  We weren't able to get the push mower to start so a couple of islands didn't get mowed that very much needed to be mowed.   

Sorry to hear about your buddy 2.  Hopefully he will heal completely from his infection.

@ chech, I was trying to not notice what the DOW was doing so I wouldn't get depressed... Thanks a lot...

Anybody watching the UNC-Duke basketball game? This is a well officiated game. They are calling the obvious fouls but are letting them play otherwise. The way it's supposed to be.
