We had a great crowd today and great services. RTR!

Good for you, Preacher. But times are changing. I remember in the Episcopal Cjurch we attended in Jacksonville and many others, the preacher served communion wine to everyone from the same cup going down the line. I doubt that'll ever happen again.

Times are indeed changing, OT. One of the guys I played golf with today really got me thinking. He said he thinks that the positive side of all this is that it will unite us all. He may be right. The divisiveness in politics has all but stopped.

We usually are at our best when things are at it's worst. Just ask anybody that's been through a serious hurricane or tornado. If the selfish among us will just stop hoarding TP and ground beef, I'll be a believer.

Good thoughts, 2. The ultimate test will be uniting with Auburn fans.   Shocked

I wouldn't go that far, OT.

OT you are right in uniting. It is really a thing of the heart. Making for of the aubs is fun but when it gets serious I have to pray for them just all others even the ones in our church. Regardless I think this is perfect opportunity for some to close services like the world wants now a days. God Bless everybody stay dry. It has been pouring here since early morning and thundering and lightning. RTR!
Screw 'em.

Good morning folks.  I didn't sleep very well last night either.  Mine isn't stress so much though.  Well, actually it is.  I slept pretty well from about 9:30-1:30 then Mrs. Nalt came into the bedroom and turned on the overhead lights saying that she needed me to help her find her eyeglasses.  Banging your head against the wall.  So I get up, get my flashlight and follow her to the den.  She had fallen asleep on the couch watching tv so we start searching all over, under, and around it.  Nothing.  I get up and look over on the snack counter looking into the kitchen.  Runt had removed her glasses before he went to sleep because he didn't want her to lose them.   Banging your head against the wall.  That was good of him but he didn't put them in the designated place for such.  Yes, that really does exist.  So now that she knew where they were I was released to go back to bed.  I tossed and turned until about 3:30 or 4:00.  My alarm was set for 5:00.  So now I'm working on doing some online training for work by listening to some extreme computer nerd lecturing while I'm trying to stay awake...

Oh, and yes, it is raining here too... Banging your head against the wall.

I've looked for my glasses, then found them on my face.   Embarrassed

I'm infamous for leaving my sunglasses in restaurants, but so are other people. I once went back to the Red Lobster in Mobile to ask if they had found a pair of sunglasses, and they pulled out a box with about 40 to 50 pairs that had been left.

I hope your sermon goes well Preacher.

For the record though, with your history of health issues I would suggest that you stick to going to church at your usual pacle and don't mingle, shake hands, hug, etc. with anyone.   Socially distance yourself.  It could save your and Mrs. Dottie's life...

Hey NALT I was requested by this church if I would come preach for them today. They don't have a Pastor so I just use hand wiping stuff and pray the Lord takes care of us. Thanks for the thoughts though. RTR!

The Church of England has suspended all services, Preacher. Some churches are streaming services and people are asked to pray at home. Hope this never happens in America.

It has very much happened at most churches/congregations.  Almost all have gone to streaming services.

Good morning...er....afternoon, all.   Day 6 of teleworking.   Lots of teleconferences on tap.  I had one from 8-9:30, 10-11, and now 12-2.

I also didn't sleep well, so staying awake until 2 listening to these folks is going to be a challenge.

You better make atonement to Chaac for whatever you did.

We had rain yesterday with more coming later today. High of 58, but warming up tomorrow. Please, please let the warm weather stay!

Good morning folks.  I slept well last night but woke up anyways at 4:15.  Might as well go ahead and get started working.  So here I am... Two possible potential storm events for us today.  First is this morning.  Possible severe super-cells.  Second is this afternoon/evening with a higher probability of super-cells.

Atonement?  Last time I started listing my sins and asked for atonement, Ricky said I was bragging!

Looks like a washout here today.  Heavy heavy heavy rain right now.  Glad we live on a hilltop.  We've prolly had an 1" the past hour, maybe more.

Just thought of a joke.... I'll go post it.

Jokes are good. Will give us something to do during this boring, sportsless time. I got to thinking; recruiting has to be all but shutdown, sans phone and social media. Got to be driving CNS crazy.

No need.  The complaints are mostly from Gardiner, MT.  Almost all of the residents are park employees, merchants who market to tourists, or wildlife watchers.

They'll shoot the complainers before we can get there.

Is Belize open?

Web: "Belize has closed most of its ports of entry, but its Santa Elena Border and Philip Goldson International Airport remain open"

WTH??  Why close any border crossings if you're leaving the airport open??  Belize... going for the tourist bucks!
