Good Tuesday morning (Camel Eve).

Chech, I have decided to self quarantine and work from home, at least through the rest of the week. My grandson had a fever Sunday night through Monday morning, but is ok now. I feel the need to err on the side of caution, though. Now brace yourself, I'm not even going to play golf.

 

 

Courses are still open? In Britain it's banned as a nonessential activity, but I have a feelimg it's essential to you.    

It is indeed essential to me, OT, but I'll stay put inside for a while. It's unbelievable to me that the golf courses are still open. Maybe not for long, though.

Well I've never known a person to play a couse alone. That takes the fun out of beating an opponent and being rewarded with a little money or free drink. You can always putt around the house, 2, if you're overcome with golfless grief.

I play alone quite often. I don't mind it at all. In fact, if I do end up playing, I will play alone.

I actually beaned my brother one time on the course.   I had a blind shot onto the green over a row of ~15-20ft high spruce, and my brother was standing on the green.   I felt bad about it, even though the idiot should have known I was hitting onto the green.  I think he doubted my ability to make as good of a shot as it was.

When I retired I had an advisee on the books who had 14 semesters at Ole Miss.  She thought she'd be a doctor one day, but every semester I advised her on which classes to take, but she took others anyhow.  She was a biology major, but had only passed freshman biology and one other class.

Summer after I retired she wrote me for an advising session.  Apparently she'd not read her emails from me.  I simply wrote back: "RETIRED".

Ahhhh, the life!

They do, but its requirements aren't random either.  And her choice was biology.
