We're okay.  Super high winds just went through and heavy rain now.  Wow.
Our good friends have a big tree down on their driveway.  Nasty stuff.

Prayers to y'all Ricky.   Kiss

We've heard from friends tonight that trees are down all over Oxford.  I can hear hammering in our neighborhood, so that might mean someone is covering their roof with a tarp (tree down?).  Firetrucks on Audubon Drive near our friends' house, where more trees down.  Crazy day, crazier night.

I can see stars outside, so maybe the front has passed finally.  Hope y'all down range are okay.

Prayers for Mrs Dottie, Preacher. Glad you and LF are ok, Chech.

We were rudely awakened by a tornado warning about 3:10 AM. It passed just to our north. It was the same tornado that hit Seneca, SC, which is right next to Clemson. Watching TWC right now. Tornado warnings are all over the pacle, mainly in Ga. I see where 5 people were killed in Ga. Not sure where in Ga. 5 dead in Ms.

Good morning.  Coffee

Just hope Dottie and Ricky are okay today, and her surgery goes okay.  What a night!

I know at least 3 big trees came down in our neighborhood last night.  With power outages I don't know much more.  I'll walk around after the sun comes up.

Our friends who we meet for dinner on Fridays (before Covid 19) had a huge oak in the middle of their circular driveway that cam down.  A mess.  Our friends who went to Belize with us had trees down in the neighborhood too, and the fire department was there, but no report of injuries yet.  That's all we heard, except that trees were down in town too.

Glad you're okay 2.  Yikes what a stormy Easter.

Seven deaths in MS:

"One man was killed in Walthall County, according to Greg Michel, executive director of the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. Two others were killed in Lawrence County, according to emergency officials. One person died in Jones County.

Three people were killed in Jefferson Davis County, bringing the total number of deaths to seven, MEMA officials said."

Busy night indeed, Chech. Lots of people without power from Arkansas to the Carolinas. We lost it briefly but have it back now. Seneca apparently got hit hard. Clemson too.

RE and I talked on the phone yesterday for over an hour while the tornadoes were hitting near Laurel MS.  We watched the Storm Chasers as they documented numerous storms.  He and Mrs RE were planning to share their neighbor's shelter if one hit Tuscaloosa, but doubt they had to.  Lots of misery down there near Laurel.  One tornado seemed to stay on the ground for an hour or more.  One little town got hit twice.  Very sad day for many people.

Good morning folks.  Hope everyone is safe.  We weathered the weather last night without injury or damage except for my driveway.  I think it is in worse shape than it has ever been.  Lots and lots and lots of rushing water can and will take it's toll and it took it out on my driveway.  I was scheduled to "work from home" but I'm going to have to take a day of leave to try and get the driveway so that Mrs. Nalt can get out.  She has to take the youngest boy to the dentist this afternoon.  I'm glad it isn't an early appointment...

We lost one tree in our back yard due to high winds.  Otherwise, we did fine.  Carbon Hill had a rough evening and really lucky to escape with no fatalities.  Glad to have that behind us.  Time for some backyard cleanup.

Well dropped Mrs Dottie off for surgery and had to come home. So this gives me time to pray for those hit by the storms and pray other places be safe. Glad all my fellow Bama folks are ok. RTR!

We did not experience anything worse than heavy rains and thunder/lightning in my neck of the North AL woods.

Hopefully none of the CRS brethren experienced any damage or injury.
