Maybe the fish will be like this.
Laughing  It'd be a first.  The seagulls are always biting!  So are the bittchy fat womens in swimsuits.

Very sad to hear, Chech. Prayers for the wife.

Rain won't get here until tonight. Yesterday was beautiful. It took a while for my golf game to get cranked up. Ended up shooting an 86. Highlight of the day; I reached #12, a par 5 in two. I've never done it before. It left me about a 50 ft putt. I 2 putted for birdie and had 5 straight pars after that before double bogeying #18.

Will be trying it again in a little while. I guess you're stuck at home today because of the rain?

Yes, stuck at home indeed.  We have 5 acres of woods, so "stuck at home" isn't a big deal, but "stuck inside" is a whole different ball game.

Sounds like you did okay with your new-improved eye.  A birdie and 5 straight pars is a good round for anybody.  Just wish I could be there to make you feel better about your game!
 Kiss
I totally understand your perspective Chech.  I only have 2-1/2 acres that are wooded except for the area directly around the house but I can always find things to do in the woods.  Obviously, the "woods" around my house aren't all mine but I sure wish they were.  Anyways, look at the attachment to see my house.

Oh, good morning folks.  It started raining here sometime this morning.  It has been steady but not too hard.  The harder rainfall is supposed to arrive later today.  I sure hope it isn't anything like what we got last Sunday.  I spend all day Friday on a tractor spreading 7 tri-axle dumptruck loads of chert and I'd like for it to stay where I put it for a few years...

Congrats on the good golfball game 2.  Maybe with your fixed eyes you actually will be a better golfballer.

Two putting from 50 feet is quite a feat, at least for me.  I played yesterday, and shot in the 90s.  I had a 10 on a par 5 where I cranked my drive into the woods.  Other than that, I played ok for my skill level.  I didn't have an birdies (missed one 4-foot birdie putt.. Banging your head against the wall.), but did have 4-5 pars and a slew of single bogeys.  I don't get too upset until I start getting the multiple boxes around the numbers.

NALT is always talking about cutting grass.  Based on his the location of his house, I'm pretty sure he doesn't even have grass.  He might be mowing pine straw.

And now I see why his driveway required so much chert!  Nice location.

Very little grass actually but I do have some.  Mostly just weeds.  And absolutely ZERO pine trees!  I mow at church and for three other people.  Cool

That's good, HL. The average golfer shoots over 100. Pars are always good.

There are 2 courses here where I live. We played the hard one today. The front nine is brutal, and by far the hardest of the nines. I shot a 39. I've never broken 40 on that nine before. Unfortunately, the lightning I caught in a bottle on the front nine, disappeared on the back nine and I shot 45. I will take an 84 on that course any time, however.

Heavy rain here again after a break just before dark.  Lots of storms, especially near Hattiesburg and Meridian.

Rained all night here, but nothing severe. One of my daughters texted me. In Pensacola, they were under 2 different tornado warnings, but she said everyone was good.

Going back to my retina doctor this morning for follow up. Fingers crossed.
