Good Tuesday morning!

Back to the office today. I'm looking forward to getting out of the condo. Mrs 2 is stuck, however, and has a serious case of cabin fever. More and more talk about opening things up, albeit slowly. We'll see.

Yes, prayers for Dottie.

 Pray

Glad you got a good report, 2.  Didn't you say earlier that you still have floaters?  Hope they went away.  Mine drive me nuts!

Thanks Chech. I do still have floaters, but they are slowly dissipating. The doctor told me yesterday that they will likely stay around for 3-4 months before completely going away. They bother the crap out of me right now.

I've only got one, but it jumps right in front when I turn my head.  Needless to say, bird watching is frustrating.  BUT, glad I got it checked out.

BTW, on Saturday I talked with a friend in the SEC office.  They are facing a huge deficit, and they may have to start furloughing people.  Imagine, their entire budget is from sports.  More as this develops, but you'll prolly hear about it on Finebaum anyhow...

Very sad. We apparently have reached that crossroad, where they will need to evaluate where we are with the virus, and is it worth crushing people's livelihoods by keeping the businesses closed.  Sad

Yesterday I talked with the lady who owns the motel where we stay in Montana.  She's waffling on whether to open this summer at all.  Not just the virus; she needs back surgery and wants to take time off to recover (if they ever do the surgery -- it's postponed).

She said everybody is waiting for Yellowstone to decide when it'll open.  Once that opens the towns will be full of tourists, so it could be a mess.  Most importantly, West Yellowstone has no hospital; just a clinic.  Closest hospital is hours away in Bozeman.  Same in many of those low-population western states.  Lots to think about.

There is indeed, lots to think about, including; do states open up in every county? Some counties are hotter than others, depending on the state. Look at Texas for example.

Good morning folks.  Prayers for Mrs. Dottie.  Glad you are getting to go back to the office 2.  I hope you enjoy it and can be productive. Chech, what is your gut instinct about your trip out west for this summer?  I hope that you will be able to do it.  I'm starting to think that when I do get to go back in the office that maybe I'll try and talk Mrs. Nalt into going down to the coast for a few days of R&R.  I'd love to go down and catch some Pompano... Or maybe a Red...

Good morning, NALT.

Yeah, they are talking about opening the beaches in the Panhandle very soon now.

Maybe Greg Sankey can take a pay cut or do without a bonus to keep a few people employed.

Senator Cornyn from TX was on TV talking about this very thing when I read your message.  People just need to use some common sense and realize we can't make unilateral decisions for the whole country or even whole states.

Good morning all. Glad 2stater is getting better. Prayers for all of those with cabin fever. I know it is rough to sit and wait. Maybe soon something will break loose. RTR!

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the Gulf oil spill. Gulf seafood is fine today, but back then you weren't supposed to eat it. Seems like that went on forever. I think Wintzell's stayed open, and I kept eating there. Can't believe a decade has gone by.
