Good morning folks. Went through a shower of rain on the way to work this morning.

Safe travels 2 when you head to Pensacola.  Going to church huh?  Well if you aren't going to be playing golfball then maybe you can get a good nap...

No guitars, drums, piano, or organs where we go to church. But Preacher is right, those have become quite common in churches that want to be seen as progressive.

Well, guess I can't judge whether that's a church or not, having guitars and drums.  Let me just say that I've seen a lot of bars with guitars and drums.  HTH

These type churches are trying to be more contemporary. Our church has a piano and a lot of churches I have preached at has piano and some guy playing a guitar. RTR!

I've never understood churches going "contemporary" like that.  What makes people think that they have to be entertained when they go to church?  That isn't and shouldn't be, IMO, what church is all about.

You are dead on NALT. I went to a church one time that mentioned watching the Super Bowl to draw more people and my reply was " I Quit the Minute the TV goes on" Period. RTR!

Wow! A guitar in church caused all this? I guess my SIL is going to he!!.

We made it in safely last night. If there was a pandemic going on, you'd never know it by the traffic. You would have thought it was a holiday weekend coming up or something.

So the SEC has said the season will start Sept 26. Vandy and UF have been added to Bama's schedule. That gives us Ga, UF, TAMU, LSU and Auburn. I don't think the talking heads will be bashing us again this year for having a week schedule.

Good morning.
Yes 2, you caused the uproar (again). Just by mentioning Satan’s guitar.

We lost power yesterday for about three hours, and now our phones and WiFi don’t work. May be a blessing.

JT played well yesterday. So did lots of others.

Later...

Thought at least one of you might mention marital obligations.

Still no modem. Limited web usage (via cell). Ugh.
