As I was driving south on the Parkway going to work this morning the eastern sky was eerily reddish purple.  I managed to snap a pic of it as I went over one of the overpasses.  Then when I got to work the eastern sky was absolutely beautiful.  I took a pic of it from the parking lot of my building.

Well, our brackets continued to crumble yesterday.  Stupid me, I had faith in the SEC.  

BTW, Justin Thomas is doing well in the Valspar Championship.

Meanwhile, LF and I went for a walk yesterday, then sat in chairs to cool down in our yard.  An owl hooted.  It was about 10:30am.  Odd.

I saw crows gathering in a big pine across the street, and after much searching with binoculars I found the owl: A Great Horned Owl.  The crows kept scolding it for an hour.  Video is on Facebook.  Here's a pic of it among the branches.

Good Sunday morning. Gonna be a bit cooler today. The wind really kicked up yesterday afternoon and brought in cooler air. Was gonna try and play golf today but now I'm rethinking it.

Yeah, colder here too (41F), but no wind at least.
