UPDATE ON STORM DAMAGE:

Recall I said lightning was popping all around our house this morning?  This afternoon my neighbor came over.  At 4am lightning hit a big pine tree between our yards, ripping off the bark along one side and leaving a 3'-diameter hole next to the tree.  It blew out his power, and the breakers.

Then we learned of a house 3 miles east of us that was hit by lightning and burned to the ground.  Family of 6.

Oh wow! That's terrible, Chech.  Sad Prayers indeed! We had storms roll through here yesterday along with some warnings but it never got too severe. More forecast for today.

Thanks for positive thoughts about the accident, guys. I'm having a very difficult time finding a pacle that will take the truck to be repaired because of the lots being full due to the shortage of parts to repair the vehicles. Some are backlogged until July. Craziest thing I've ever encountered. I have a rental car and have found a truck like what I have that is new. It is coming from WV and will be here in a couple of weeks.

What does the person do who can't afford to buy a new vehicle?

It's definitely a problem, 2.  New vehicles are in limited supply, and repairs take forever.  Did everybody come out of covid unable to drive??  Same here; I had to wait August to December last year to get my fender fixed after hitting that pronghorn.  Similar wait for my buddy, whose son wrecked their car; months of backlog.  Worker shortage??

Yeah, there's definitely that too. Probably the leading factor in all of this. Computer chip shortages due to worker shortage seems to be the biggest issue. But it's effecting everything.

Well, if it includes a golfball shortage, call me.  Somehow I became a hoarder it appears.  I found a big box of them in the garage.

Until now I didn't realize you have a truck. Used for hauling things?

Lots of storms last night, especially in Georgia and coastal SC.  Scary stuff.  Many tornadoes.

Here we're on the back side of a cold front.  It's 43 this morning; damp and cool.  Hopefully the sun will come out and warm up the day.

My phone alarm went off at 3:30 for a thunderstorm warning. It went north of here, but my alarm did it's job; woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep.

About to be MIA til Monday for my first golf trip. Still don't know if I can swing a golf club. Not much improvement in my sprained thumb. I guess I'll find out this afternoon.

Y'all hold down the fort.

Yesterday was ... different.  Spent the morning at the eye clinic: Dacryocystorhinostomy.  $3 word and plenty of nose bleed.  Iced and Masters all day.  You?

No sports news much except Caden Clark and wide receiver Agiye Hall entering transfer portal.  Guess 2 made it to GA.

Masters again today.

2, glad you weren't more seriously injured in the wreck.   Good luck with the truck, trip and.thumb!

Check, maybe you need LF to sock you in the nose a little more frequently and keep those ducts flowing freely.  😉

Tiger had a nice round yesterday considering his age and rebuilt leg and back. Maybe he can hold it together for 4 days.  Augusta is a rough hike.  Unfortunately JT and Florence AL'S Stewart Cink did NOT have good rounds.
