Chech, looks like time for you to hunker down again tomorrow.

We have not had measurable rain since late August; not a drip since September 5th.  The trees are dropping their (brown) leaves.  I'd take a storm if it brings rain.  But when I watched the forecast last night they downplayed the chances of rain to "trace".

Morning, all. We haven’t had rain here in a while, but it was supposed to roll in this evening. I woke up on my day off and checked the weather - 5% chance of rain all the way through to 5:00 PM. Got my carb heavy breakfast of pancakes and pan fried taters cooked and consumed, got my bike loaded up for a long ride and run day, was just about to go through my checklist to make sure I don’t forget something important like pedals (yes, I’ve done that), and heard thunder. Big storm headed this way and quickly.

We need the rain; I wish it could have held off just a little longer. Long rides on the indoor trainer are just not as enjoyable as being out in creation. But my final race of the year, a half-IRONMAN distance race in Miami, is one month away so the work needs to be done.

Good morning good to be home. I just hope the messenger don't get shot. Sometimes a little bad press will pick up the pace enough to do good. RTR!

Good thirsty Thursday morning. I hope everybody got some rain. We only got a trace here in Taylors, SC. Everything went south of here last night and it looks like the second wave is going to do the same thing. We sure need it bad here.

Braves evened the series with Philly last night, winning 3-0.

1.  Yes, we FINALLY got a shower.  Haven't checked the rain gauge yet, but maybe 1/4".  First rain since August.

2.  Glad the Braves won.  I taped 3 hours of rain delay.   Banging your head against the wall.

Tuscaloosa got a few hour of rain yesterday, and a strong storm came through overnight.

I’m feeling good today after setting a 100 yard PR in the pool this morning. Two more days of hard work, then I get a recovery week next week.
