This is great news and quite frankly, surprises me. Shows the character instilled in the team by Saban.  

Great news too for those hardy fans who plan to attend.  

And this:  It probably means Saban has no interest in developing the backups for next year.

I think Milroe will stay. Not sure about the others, although they would be foolish to leave with the position being wide open for next year.

Maybe.  Milroe may be as good as Hurts was at this point, but Milroe is so undeveloped (raw talent).  I have no idea if he'll improve, because he hasn't given any indication that he reads defenses, has pocket awareness, or has consistency in running the offense.  I'm still shocked that Hurts improved enough to start in the NFL, so maybe Milroe should get more time to see.  But how long would that take??  Fans are whining like crazy after a 2-loss season.  If we get blown out by Texas on Sept 9th, the season may be lost.

A lot can happen between now and then, including some pretty good QBs in the portal. Grayson McCall out of Coastal Carolina, for instance would be a nice get if Saban is interested in trying to rel him in.

That's what I meant when I said, "TRANSFER PORTAL QB!"  I don't see us dominating without a transfer.  Never heard of McCall, but I'll check it out.  Thanks.

Howdy folks.  I know what Preacher means when he says it is cold.  We don't have any heat this season yet other than a small space heater (which feels like it is trying to heat outer space).  A guy is supposed to start Wednesday or Thursday replacing the two HVAC units that have failed. I sure hope he gets at least one of them up and running before Thursday night...

I have already served Mrs. Nalt notice that if we don't have heat by then I will be sleeping down at her mother's house until it is warm...
