Had an early, full day yesterday, so I played hooky from CRS, but I'm back for Hump Day.

 





My choices come down to Mac and A.J.. A.J. had attitude. I liked it, plus he brought us 2 Natties. As much as I loved Mac, I'll have to go with A.J. by a hair.

One of my favorite players that wore #10 is the original wishbone QB Terry Davis.

Wow I had totally forgotten about Terry Davis. History is fun but when you forget it is embarrassing. RTR!

I know. His last post said he had been dealing with health problems. Let's hope he's ok.

We have had some good ones at #9; Freddie Kitchens, Amari Cooper, Bryce Young, Jordan Battle and probably others I'm forgetting. Out of that group, I will probably go with Amari Cooper by a hair over Bryce.

Hope somebody has a phone # for Old Tider to check on him. I know I gave somebody my number a long time ago. I pray he is ok. We seem to be losing more and more. We see new names coming but we don't see any new names posting.
I would have to say my #9 would be Bryce because of how much he carried the team on his shoulders. RTR!

Bryce Young #9. Heisman winner, great player, good teammate, and overall good guy.

Who is the toughest #9.... Freddie Kitchens. I have never seen a QB take so many hard hits and continue to get up and keep going.

It's a plus of getting older.  You meet new people every day, even ones that you already know.

Julio is the obvious choice, but multi year All-SEC LBer Freddie Roach was a good one and is currently the DL coach and a heckuva recruiter.

I saw Freddie's older half brother Tim Bowens (who.played WR under.Stallings) out eating Sunday lunch recently.  Their uncle, who I go to.church with, owns a local restaurant where Freddie/Tim's Mom works.
