Morning. It sure feels nice to go outside early in the morning, it's the only cool time of the day.

The weather gods teased us again yesterday. Late yesterday afternoon, it became very overcast and the wind kicked up, but it never rained. 

Mornin' all. Same here, 2. Keep getting some dark clouds and maybe even a little thunder on occasion, but still no H2O here in Mobile. Getting frustrating.

The other day when I was watching the radar, I saw a t-storm building near Mobile and was hoping you guys would get something out of it, but just like here, it fizzled out.

Yep, I really thought we would get something then. I was at Orange Beach Saturday and saw a great deal of lightning over the Gulf, but again no rain.

Morning.  Thanks, 2 for the PM about the "large area of disturbed weather" surrounding me.  It seems in balance; there's a large gathering of disturbed people on this 15-acre island too.

I was swimming alone in a mangrove channel yesterday, taking photos of mangrove sponges and fish.  I got one of those cold-chill feelings, and looked up to see this thing looking back at me: 6' crocodile.  It dashed for deep water and I took 2 pics.  The photo was better than I thought when I took it.  I hadn't seen that its chin was resting on a log.  Cool.  Wish I could project a big pic of it so you could get the full effect.

BTW, if I stop posting, send postage for Cat's return to Lady.

You got it. Good to hear from you. How's the fishing been the last couple of days?

Fishing has been slow.  I caught only 2 big Barracuda yesterday morning (before breakfast), and only a big Barracuda, a tuna, and 2 Yellow Jacks yesterday afternoon.  But I was handicapped during the PM with 2 novice ladies in swimsuits.  I couldn't concentrate on fishing.

BTW, the weather is odd for your "area of disturbed weather".  It's almost completely calm and blue skies this AM. 

Cat is asleep next to me on the deck.  Such a tough day she's had.

Germans made a run for the Fatherland last week.

They were repacled by a group of 10 Sewanee girls who love to go boating.  They are the ones I took out to see the dolphins after I posted the pics.  They are here 1 more day.  Nice children.  WV would approve of their attire; rules of CRS, not.

My heart goes out to you for your fishing handicap. I know life is tough there, but it won't last forever. FWIW, the NWS now says that upper level winds is making the disturbed area less than favorable for development in the next 48 hrs. Life is good, no?
