Busy as a one-armed paper hanger. This year has been rough since it rained or snowed  almost every day since Thanksgiving. We were a little behind the eight ball when planting time arrived. Had some mechanical difficulties, less help this year, and now it won't rain to "water-in" all the new plants. Throw in some computer trouble, a personal tragedy (close friend stage 4), and those obnoxious UF softball fans and... but things will be back to normal soon.

Very sorry to hear about your friend. I can relate. I can also relate about the obnoxious UF fans. They've put a dagger in our post season hearts 3 times in a row now. I wish you luck on the rain. Seems it's way too dry everywhere. I'll send you a joke. Hope that'll brighten your day.

The local farmers are all getting too old to put up hay. So we've been donating our "crew" to help out. I've been hopping on the hay wagon with them for years, when I am home, and it has always been a chance to catch up on news with neighbors. First cutting coinciding with planting time does not help. Still glad to help but I'm not as quick to jump in the middle of square baling as I was a few years ago. Sad

The UF fans are not as obnoxious today as they were a few days ago. I was not surprised ASU won but did not expect them to beat the crap out of them. SEC still has never won a WCWS title.

I hear ya. It's all I can do to keep up with my pool and yard. I come in huffing and puffing and my wife makes fun of me telling me I'm not the man I used to be. I retort with "neither are you". The swelling is finally going down in my left eye.  Wink

To me KD looked spent. In fact most of the team looked a little tired to me. Fl. looked tired against ASU.

IDK. BTW, the promo that ESPN used that pictured the teams in a "gangsta" pose on home plate,---I saw the same depiction on the Showtime series "The 'L' Word". Lips Sealed

I did not see the first game but from what I was told and read the ump helped. His strike zone was over the heart of the plate or it was a ball. Dunne and Traina walked 8 batters in two innings. When forced to throw over the middle of the plate Florida was crushing them.

The second game we looked beat before we started. The lead off hitter got a single and was bunted to second. The 3rd batter hit a 2 run HR and the 4th batter hit a solo HR. It was 3-0 before it was started. We did not get a hit till the 5th and our runs came in the 7th.

It was disappointing but we made it to the semi-finals. Thats pretty darn good. We only loose 2 seniors in Dunne and Larsen. Traina will only get better.

Snorkeling over the deep reef in front of the island this morning.  This manatee came up to greet me.  I asked, "You WV?"  No answer.

None in the mangroves yesterday.  Now they're in the coral.  World is upside down.

Hello Chech. Nice picture. How big is that manatee?

WV showed up this morning. You can quit looking for him and get me more information on the girl with half a bathing suit.
