I just saw a commercial for 'Zestra'

female arousal oil.  I am watching planet earth on the animal planet.  Interesting target audience.
The girls worth talking to get fired up with a whiff of WD-40 or, God forbid, gun oil. I'm using a laptop with a broken screen for my personal use,-- RGB on TV. Can't interweb and watch Tv at the same time until I get the my good one fixed. (See Paty Hall problem)

that sux, sorry, I got busy for a minute

I'm finishing Karl Rove's book Courage and Consequence.

I don't have any time to spare for books, but when I was flying a lot a read a couple about d-day.

Good read = Lee Child, "Worth Dying For".  Kind of a "Walking Tall" theme.  You won't put it down unless you finish it.

Lobster Season opened.  I'll be busy for a few days.  Everyone okay, I hope?

Stock market is bombing again today, DOW is down -157. They are blaming it on a weak economy. No kidding.

Uncertainties with health care, taxation, etc. All make the people that run our business machine uncomfortable and less inclined to invest or expand.

Smitty, I glad it is working out for you. Do you know how many actual jobs were created by the 400 mllion contract? Most of the stimulus money did create a few jobs but like all government plans most of it went to line the pockets of politicial allies.

Probably around 10.  I know a lot of people that work for the client kept their jobs by being on this project.  Each of the contractors probably had to hire two or three extra people.  It's a 15 year total contract though, so the total number of jobs created wont be known for quite some time.

My former company got a billion dollar contract that required them to hire a certain number of new people, but they filled the rest of the positions in-house.  It was something like 150 new employees to 2500 or so existing.  It's a scam, no doubt.  These companies are huge BTW and did not need it.

Its sad for most of us but I glad it is working out for you. At least my tax dollars are helping somebody I know.

I took 3 kids fishing yesterday afternoon.  It was rough out beyond the breakers, along the wall where the depth drops from 60' to 2000', but that's where the fish were feeding.  There were big clouds of birds after the small baitfish.  We loaded up with tuna and a big Barracuda, then grilled them at the dock.  They'd never fished in saltwater before; hence the luck.  Never seems to fail.
