Ok, I have a couple of minutes so I'll fill you in on the golf trip. I know you all have been on pins & needles waiting to hear the details.  We arrived at The Legends on Sunday for a 1:30 tee time at the Heathland course. We played "extreme" modified Stableford rules and I came in 2nd in my foursome. The only money in play for round 1 was closest to the pin. Yours truly won $0. The morning round on Monday was played at the Parkland course and again I came in 2nd and won $0. We did a replay on the Moorland course Monday afternoon and I had the pull-hooks all afternoon and came in 3rd in my foursome. There was no money in play. Tuesday, we played team match play. I beat my opponent 7 & 6 and had 1 closest to the pin. We won the team competition and between the 2, I won $32. Wednesday, we played 2 rounds at The Heritage and I shot 94 & 82. I was 1st in my foursome both rounds. There was no money in play.

I'm not saying there was a lot of beer drank, but at the start of the 2nd round, an emergency Bud Light truck was called out to restock.

There were no innocent bystanders or other golfers injured in our melee (that I recall  )

I started yesterday with seeing a scuffle in the line to watch the Casey Anthony (murdered her own kid) trial. Now, news of a beer truck/restock gambling tussle. What kind of alternator ripping off operation are you folks running down there in the Carolinas? Is there no law and order at all?

I thought about you when I drove through Conway. They now have a historic plaque that says "WV slept here and got ripped off by an alternator salesman." In fine print at the bottom, it said "Let it go".

Flash flood warnings until AM. All mine are home and high and dry. Except for running on 2-3 hrs. sleep this has been a great day. Ate steaks and watched golf.  The girls kept my stemmed glass full all afternoon and the phone has been quiet.
