Frisbee + golf = frolf

I have wanted to pick this up for some time since there are several courses around Mobile, but I haven't located someone to play with yet to teach me a little about throwing this things because from what I understand it ain't like throwing a regular frisbee.

It's not frisbee golf it is disc golf. Frisbees are for the beach. A frisbee cost under $5.00 at Walmart. A golf disc cost $15.00 at Academy or any good sporting goods store. You will need 5-10 of them. I own 12 and can't wait to purchase another one.  Like real golf it is hard. You need to be able to throw a disc 250-300 feet. Think length of a football field. That is all.
