Hey, you're still here.  I visited that cave during 1999, long before TS or CRS.  By then I had learned enough Mayan to understand that "Actun" means "Cave", and "Chechem" is a "Black Poisonwood Tree".  Chechem is a common poisonous tree in the forest (as common as poison ivy; much worse, though).

All over Central America.  A friend of mine cut one down this past April when building a makeshift shelter in Belize.  He didn't know what it was.  He and his companion were staying in the jungle overnight, so they made a shelter, like Bear Grills.  Anyhow, by the time he flew home to the states a week later he was so swollen with sores that they denied him access to the Continental plane.  He finally got aboard, only after a doctor confirmed that he wasn't contagious.  He looked terrible when I saw him a few days later.  Rest of the story?  He's fine now.
