Add yesterday to the 4 or 5 days each summer that I wish I had AC.  The house (downstairs also) finally cooled off around midnight.

OMG.  You need to at least have a small window unit that you can install during these occasional heat waves.  My friend in Minnesota said that their stores all sold out of them this week (when it reached 98 in Marshall, MN).  Shocked
LOL. Even when I am complaining about the day's high temps it is nothing to whine about. Maybe 85 degrees in the late afternoon. Overnight temps drop back into the 60's. Not the entire state by any stretch. Just this 3 or 4 county area of the most mountainous terrain.  The woman plans her cooking around it,-- on real hot days she'll just fix sandwiches and not run the dryer. My office (direct sunlight and computers running) is the worst. Someone stole my fan yesterday. Angry

I enjoy the open-air feel in Belize.  It's hot, but there is something nice about having the breeze blow through and hearing the outdoor sounds.  Reminds me of the backpacking days in Virginia.

BUT, I was glad to jump in the pool and cool off indoors yesterday after getting sweaty all day.  It's hard to cool down after working.

Not naming names (mostly because I can't remember them all) as to the fan thief.

Don't know if you're into house renovations, but I need some advice.  This old house has a septic tank somewhere.  Beyond that field lines.  We're trying to decide whether it's worth trying to deal with that.  The toilet flushed okay (before we pulled it out), but certainly there are roots in the lines.  If we're going to rework that, it'd be easier to do it when the bath floor is torn out (now) that after we repacle it (next week).  Just thinking.

You must be new at this.  Grin

I'm off to sweat.  I'll try to check in about noon before leaving for the gun show.  Luego.

I have days when my back doesn't want to work that has nothing to do with its capability.   Embarrassed

But I do hope you feel better, preacher.

"Good night, boys."

I've had a full day.  We tore the ceiling out of the bedroom, then I left for the gun show.  Bought some good knives; sold just a few.  Sad

I listened to CNS at Media Days.  He did us proud.  And it sounds to me that he will indeed (harumph) play both QBs for the first few games.  I'm good with that.
