I decided to post 2 in a row quickly, because I was at 4444 posts.

Finally home from the gun show.  Boring today.  All I got at my table were the folks with no money, but plenty of afflictions to discuss with me.  "What am I, a physician?  Come with money or go away."

Good to be home.

Pmull, your video tip helped greatly. I played Thursday and shot a solid 86. The first iron shot I hit was a 4 iron from about 165. I lowered the right shoulder and crushed it dead straight to about 8 ft. from the hole. I over leaned a couple of times and hit fat shots, but I only pull-hooked one shot all day long. Thanks for the tip.
 

Today, my fishing sucked. any pointers there?

That's kinda funny if it was the PHD PhD thing. Or was it chronic complainers?  I haven't been to a gun show in a long time, but it has to be a step up from the yard sale crowd. What say you?

Oh yeah, waaaay better than yard salers.  You've got 4 types at gun shows:

1. The avid-collector types who know what they want and eagerly work the room looking for it;
2. The novice types who are gullible and buy the Chinese stuff, then bring it to your table to ask if it was a good purchase.  "NO."
3. The families; Dad up front looking at antique knives as if he were at a museum.  Sour-puss Mom following him, and a line of dirty-faced kids eating popcorn or ice cream (and touching everything within reach);
4. The insane elderly who are knowledgeable but sickly.  They vent about politics between stories about their recent stroke and current urinary-tract infection.

Now I know how Preacher feels dealing with people daily.  They're overrated.

One more day of gun nuts, then I'm back to the simple life of house renovation in rural Mississippi.

I talked with my buddy last night.  He said he finished the back bedroom (without me) yesterday, and he plans to do the remaining room today.  Hopefully, by tomorrow we'll start putting up the wall insulation, then repacle the ceilings.  Once those are in pacle, the new insulation can be blown in and (by Friday??) we can turn on the air conditioner and work in the cool.
