Chech really logged off/out. His night-nights are generally like a well done fireworks show. First comes the fake grand finale... Huh?

Grin Grin Missed this earlier.  No, my night-nights are more like a blown engine.  First I start spewing oil, a final puff of smoke, then my lights are out.

Is this an investment property he is planning to flip?

It actually was bought by his live-in lady friend.  There are 2 opposing viewpoints:

1. She plans to rent it for football weekends to the Rebel faithful;
2. He plans to move her into it.   Wink

Now you see why he works so hard.

I wonder if WV slept in the creek last night?  It was hot again last night; looks like rain there today.

Kinda like you do with a girlfriend at Christmas. You break up to avoid buying her a present. This is what I'd do until your buddy has the AC running. Tell him you don't believe in dating Ole Miss fans and you need a few days to process him living in sin.

First, it'll be Christmas before it's finished (slow progress).  Good advice on the gift.  Applause E-Cred
Secondly, I condone it.  Grin

What about the creek?

What about the creek?
That one hit home. The woman's brother joined the marines years ago. He said, "I'll finish basic training, then I'll come home and sleep in the creek for 3 days". LOL. He was back in a month. I've been teasing him for years.

The house is warm during the day to the point of being uncomfortable, but cools off by 11-12pm.  The girls were laughing about going to the movies for the AC. I reminded them that it wasn't long ago that many people did just that. We decided going to movies was cheaper than sitting in the cars/trucks with AC/engine running. But this was not an easy call since the movies are one and a half hours away. Thought about going to BP station/convenience store and just walking around like we can't decide what to buy.

Just like old times.  I used visit my cousin during summers; Satsuma, AL.  They had no a.c.  They had no hot-water heater either.  My uncle would take us to bathe in the creek late in the day, then we'd go home for supper.  On those especially hot nights we'd go out for ice cream at the local Dairy Queen (not called that then; Gator Drive Inn?).  It worked for us.

Yikes! I fell asleep about 8:00 last night after company left and am just now getting up.  Shocked

That's about 11 hours sleep. Don't know where that came from. Thanks for all the fishing tips. I knew you guys would come through in your helpful style. Pmull, I missed the 8 foot putt. If I could have putted at all, I would have shot 80-82 easy. I made 1 good putt all day, about a 20 footer, but that was it. Now I'm going back to watch your video.

I'm getting more work production with the temps high. Seems everyone decided if your going to be hot and sweaty anyway, may as well get stuff done. But the woman won't cook big dinners. Tuna salad, egg salad and ham salad sandwiches. I have cucumber salad running out my ears (no pic).

I read the other day that cucumbers have almost no nutritional value. In your words, hope this helps.

I get far more complaints about the kitchen floor tile being cold than no AC. If I built a new home it would have AC, but I'd have to think about it. Not a slam dunk decision.
