Products to sell and free daily appointments. (If they work reeeeeeaaaaaally hard, they could make 16M)
What are you running here, 2? Some kind of multi-level marketing scam? I'll take my chances buying crap knives at the gun show. RTR

You're on to me, WV. I've taken all the money that Smitty and I have made and bought into a multi-level marketing scam to milk insurance agents of all their money.  Be quiet please

Actually, you are partly correct. It is multi-level, but there is no investment on their part. The companies that they write business for pay us an override for each application submitted to the company. These agents also get a cut of the commissions for any agent they recruit to contract with us. The agents can go 3 levels deep with the recruiting, which would mean big bucks if they half way produce. It's profit sharing by everyone.
I follow recruiting on Scout and Rivals, but I didn't see you? Huh?

WV, we just contracted with a Medicare Advantage plan that is new to West Virginia. We will be recruiting agents there in the next month or so. This company is an HMO and will network only in select counties. When I get their coverage area, maybe you can help me with some geographic info.

Big weekend for the 2Stater clan. My SIL to be plays in 2 bands and we are going tonight to watch him play in 1 of them. I have an 11:28 AM tee time tomorrow where I intend to play, thanks to pmull, pull-hook free golf. Tomorrow night, my daughters and their beaus are taking Mrs. 2Stater and yours truly to dinner at Hemingway's on Pensacola Beach for our 30th wedding anniversary, which is actually Monday. Sunday, I'll prolly play a pre-anniversary round of golf followed by taking the wife to Jerrod's or Zales for the "Tonight you get lucky her anniversary gift. Monday, our actual anniversary, may be a little anticlimactic. Any ideas about how to follow up a weekend like this for our actual anniversary day?  Undecided

Wow, congratulations.  30 is a biggie.

Ideas for followup?  Roses always work.

************Report from the Gun Show**********

I bought a nice old Randall knife, a model #1-7, 1974.  It's a beauty.

Here's a photo of a similar one.  I'm too tired to photograph this one for you.

Randall background (Wiki):

Randall-made knives, usually referred to as Randall, is an American manufacturer specializing in custom handcrafted knives founded by Walter Doane "Bo" Randall, Jr. The factory and showroom is located in Orlando, Florida. Randall offers 28 models of knives for different applications, each customizable at the factory based on customer specification. Randall hand forges nearly all models of knives instead of factory stamping, one of few manufacturers to do so. Randall uses a 17-step process for making knives, which usually takes over 8 hours to complete. The waiting list for obtaining a Randall from the factory is typically five years.

Good idea. She's told me over the years she doesn't like flowers, but when I was in SC, I couldn't make it home for a weekend one time that I had planned to, so I sent her flowers. She called me and told me that was the only thing that saved my azz. Thanks. Good idea. Have an #.

Guess I missed my chance, but just in case.  Have you considered buying her a nice folding knife?

Or a bunny?
