************Report from the Gun Show**********

I bought a nice old Randall knife, a model #1-7, 1974.  It's a beauty.

Here's a photo of a similar one.  I'm too tired to photograph this one for you.

Can I bump my knife info instead of noting the hair?

Here ya go, buddy. I'll do it for you. BUMP.

Thanks.  It really is a cool knife.  Even LF thinks so.
Rebump. Did the guy that sold it know it was a Randall? Have access to Wiki?

I paid $500.  What do you think?  Nighty night.

"Good morning."

I've made myself some coffee, packed 2 sandwiches for lunch, and sent you a PM.  Now to sit and relax for an hour before driving to lovely Batesville.

Mornin' all. My future SIL's band is very good instrumentally, however, I wouldn't say that's the case for the lead screamer singer.

Big weekend for the 2Stater clan. My SIL to be plays in 2 bands and we are going tonight to watch him play in 1 of them. I have an 11:28 AM tee time tomorrow where I intend to play, thanks to pmull, pull-hook free golf. Tomorrow night, my daughters and their beaus are taking Mrs. 2Stater and yours truly to dinner at Hemingway's on Pensacola Beach for our 30th wedding anniversary, which is actually Monday. Sunday, I'll prolly play a pre-anniversary round of golf followed by taking the wife to Jerrod's or Zales for the "Tonight you get lucky her anniversary gift. Monday, our actual anniversary, may be a little anticlimactic. Any ideas about how to follow up a weekend like this for our actual anniversary day?  Undecided

I suggest playing another round of golf. Pull-hook free of course.  Cool
Let's see how tomorrow & Sunday goes first. Got any putting tips?

My approach to putting is simple. On long putts I lag in hope of getting it in gimme range to avoid any chance of a 3 putt. I normally don't hit many range balls before a round. Just enough to get loose. I spent a lot of time on the putting green working on the 5-10ft putts. These are makeable. My best rounds come when I scramble and make a few 1 putt pars. The video is tips on short putts. HTH

Envision every putt, whether long or short, going in the hole. Don't pull the trigger on a putt until you have seen the line to the hole in your mind. Just like you envision a pool shot. You're both welcome.

Mornin', WV. Indeed it is manageable. A month from today, we will be frothing at the mouth knowing that game day is only a few short days away.
