Guess I'm doing a solo.  Brando ended the hour trashing the NCAA for allowing USCw and Kiffin to recruit this year despite coming penalties, while UTe without Kiffin is being punished.  He was rolling, then the time ran out.

When has brando been right about something?

True.  But his presence on Finebaum is FAR better than Finebaum just taking callers without direction (shhh - Tammy).

Like Jim Rome (is he still on the air?) says "the more of me and the less of you, the better for everyone."

Callers typically suck.

Totally agree. I would much rather hear actual topics discussed by the hosts than to have to hear rants about how (INSERT TEAM NAME HERE) sucks. I know he gets flamed a lot by people out there, but that is why I like listening to Colin Cowherd. I may disagree with him, but at least he SOUNDS intelligent, unlike Charles and Tammy.

The absolute bottom (for me) is a caller allowed to call out another caller, name calling, and lowering the show into the gutter.

The formula, caller #1 calls in and calls out caller #2... Caller #2 calls in and responds on air to caller #1.  Caller #1 is allowed back on the air a second time to responds to caller #2.  Show ends...

I listened.  It wasn't one guy, it was almost every one of the OSU fans who called in.  The Ohio fans are disillusioned by Tressel now.  Finebaum finally said he was surprised at the Ohio reaction, and applauded their love of the school over the coach.

A conspiracy guy called in and said he thought maybe Tressel had actually sent the emails to the higher ups as he should have, but the AD, President, and Tressel has schemed to have Tressel take the bullet while they lessened the blow by explaining it away as a confidential message that any man of honor would give due respect.  Finebaum played with that, and other callers joined in the conspiracy, agreeing (right) that it was possible.

WOW! I'm impressed! Did they mention their feelings about the Presidet & AD? Thy haven't looked very good in this matter.

Most of the callers were in agreement; the AD, Coach, and President were ruining the name of a great academic school by underestimating (or making light of) this violation.  Almost every one talked about the school's good name vs $$ football $$.  After hearing them, Finebaum starting repeating that he thinks Tressel won't survive the storm.
