We were thrown a surprise dinner. We were expecting only our daughters and their beaus. What we got was them and many of our good friends. 22 people over all. By the time we left Hemingway's it was midnight. It was a great night. Apparently we are well thought of by some people. Go figure.

We love ya too, big guy.  Happy Anniversary.

Thanks, C. You at the gun show, or did you wrap up early?

Slow.  The post-church crowd just arrived.  They mostly kick tires.  Haven't done much.  I bought 3 Puma knives, tho.

Hmmmm......that's negative cash flow. Maybe the tire kickers will discover their wallets. How many of these do you go to each year?

I go to about 6-7.  This isn't a job; just a hobby.  I like old knives, and go to these to buy and trade.  You get more offers if you have a table.

That's what I figured. The last gun show I went to was in Lawrenceville, Ga. a couple years ago. The place was huge as well as the turnout. It was in the dead of winter and cold as hell. I think the turnout was so good because there was nothing else to do. Too cold.

Nope. Bird load (shot guns) for pheasant, duck, quail. But I use rifle for turkey hunting. JMHO

Just checked the Braves score.  How do they have 12 hits and only 1 run???  Top of 9th and down 3-1.  Sad

They've worked hard at it. Check the Braves thread I started. Situations where they have runners on 1st & 3rd, nobody out and do not score.
