The team reports in today and the first practice is tomorrow. SC's countdown to game time is at 29 days. We are getting close. I am ready for some football.

My second favorite team, Austin High School Black Bears, start a week earlier on 8/26. I love those Friday night lights of high school football. My youngest daughter is the captain of the dance/flag team so we will be at every game.

My daughter graduated from McAdory in 2003.

My son is a junior at JCIB - Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School. His school band marches with Shades Valley, in Irondale off of 459.

We play Shades Valley. Ya'll come to Decatur this year. We went to your place last year and the lights went out. The game was finally completed at about 1:00.

I missed 1 or 2 Thursday night games last year because of work. I haven't looked at the schedule for this year. Band practice started this week.

I missed 1 or 2 Thursday night games last year because of work. I haven't looked at the schedule for this year. Band practice started this week.

I don't know why I came up with Decatur. Austin High is an IB school. I worked in Decatur area at Trico- Nucor Steel. Archer Midland Daniels, hospital, Boeing, GE and Monsanto, and other plants.

I also worked at Redstone, NASA, UAH, hospital and other projects in Huntsville.

If "Remember the Rose Bowl..." is on the IB tix it may confuse the barners (I guess visitor tix have the same?).
