This is not an LSU joke but I think it would suck to live in Baton Rouge. I go there about once a year on business and other than the food I hate that place.

Most of the Louisiana oilfield is in Lafayette, New Orleans, Morgan City, etc.--everywhere BUT Baton Rouge. But we know our way around and I have many friends close by should she have trouble. At least it's not auburn. I spent all summer trying to get her to talk about her obvious "Daddy" issues. She said I was a typical Bammer. lol

My kids will be able to go to any school they want.  But if they want me to pay for it, the school will have to be somewhere in Tuscaloosa.

Getting an apartment this late in the game came down to a choice between the death traps and Hollywood Hills. They moved all the furniture, dishes, linens, etc. from the Morgantown apt. to Red Stick, and Lil Miss My Little Sister Graduated Ahead of Me gets all new stuff next week. We need a "eat the pistola" emoticon.

I tried the "I'll pay if you go to Bama" stuff. If it was like they couldn't hear me. Our girls have worked hard and deserve every opportunity we can afford for them. What is (starting next week) a real pisser is boys that could care less about school heading off to college to chase "big league" tail. Their grades are slightly better than average but never study unless there is a deadline or no other way out of it.

It is still hot but not like the last month has been. Temps are low 90's now. They should be prepared for this.
