How's your buddy's house coming along?

He didn't get much done while I was gone to VA.  We put up some wall boards yesterday (pine beadboard).  He got up some insulation, so we started on that in one room.  L-O-N-G way to go.  Church got in the way today, and we're both back at work tomorrow.

Small, 1200 sq ft.  Right now it is nearly wired, but needs insulation, floors, walls, and ceiling.  Needs a new roof, but we're not the ones doing that.  Bleak, eh?

Speaking of the beach, it's time to guard it. Irene is barreling in and could effect us here. Current computer models show that it may go up the Eastern Seaboard, but it's still too early to tell. Florida landfall is likely.

I got this.  While I was watching TS Harvey hit Belize yesterday (thanks for your prayers = sarcasm), I checked out Irene.  It's my opinion that Irene will die in the mountains of Hispaniola.  Miami will get 50 mph winds or less; rain in SC.

Yep, best scenario would be the mountains eat it.  That's only about a 20% possibility, but I'm being optimistic.  It's hammering PR now.  See image: Click here for link
