Hey rueben, do you remember anything about a truck load of supplies from BAMAWV's company back when the tornado hit?  I think he may have given his phone number out to someone during that time.  We need to track him down and give him a call to check on him.  His disappearance is very suspicious, and a lot of us are concerned about him.

SC, I went thru all over a 100 emails. No personal info. He did send me a real picture of the ultimate sabanite - rammer jammer wren from a ballgame. Courtesy of Bill Brosky#48. So Bill Brosky may know him. The email address is the same. Also he said a good friend of his was a ref that called the bowl game between MSU and Bama.

Sorry. That is all I've got so far. Most of the stuff we sent back and forth was politics and jokes.

He signature is:

As a person who loves Virginia, let me point out that (according to the historians at Monticello) TJ never said that.  Click here for link

Regardless, WV apparently chose to stop communicating.  I do not think he'd appreciate being tracked down.  He'll come back when he's ready, which will likely be this week.

If you say so- I don't know him that well.  That is rather unfortunate.

I don't know him either.  But calling his house under these circumstances can't be a good idea.  I just think we should wait and let him come back when he's ready.

I suppose you are right about that.  If he is mad at us, the last thing he wants is for us to track him down and call his house.  On the other hand, if something happened to him, I don't suppose there is much we can do for him at this point.  So in either case calling his house doesn't help.  If someone knows him personally though and already had his number, then that would be a little different.  But apparently that is not the case, so I guess we just wait and hope he is OK.  I'm not buying into the sulking story though, I am genuinely concerned about his health.

I do know that his LF knows he posts here, because he laughs at the nickname she gave me. If something did happen to him, I don't know if she would take it upon herself to reach out to us, if she had access. I don't think we'd be at the top of the list for people she'd contact if something did happen to him.

If you look back at his last few posts he was not mad or upset with anybody. He was acting like his normal crazy self as far as I could tell. I hope he is OK.

I don't think he is mad. I figure WV his alot going on right before football season and had to take care of it. He has no reason not to reply to my emails other than he is too busy or sick.

Two years ago I got sick. I had pneumonia in August 2009 and didn't know. The last thing I can remember is going to daughter's graduation at UA on August 9th. 2009. I was not feeling good all summer but was working and taking prednisone and antibotics my regular doctor had prescribed.

I woke up in ICU. I was already in the hospital for 6 days when I woke up. Doctors at hospital kept me in ICU for 9 days and then another 5 days in a regular room. I didn't know why I was there when I came to. I first thought that I had been in a car wreck.

I'll add him to my prayers, just in case.  This should raise eyebrows on the Lord.

I just dug up that effing stump.  It was probably 4 feet around at least.  The stump of the tree I pushed over with the tractor when everyone flipped out.  Thats not the point though.  The point was that it was difficult, seemingly impossible.  I almost gave up several times.  The sun went down, I turned on the lights.  I was in the process of accepting that it was not coming out today, but kept digging and pushing.  Finally it went with a big rip.  I got what would be embarrassingly excited if anyone had seen me.  Something like Kirk Gibson hitting that cripple home run in the 88 series.  I hooked up the chain to it and drug it to the fire pit in the dark FTW.

E-cred for the story, and another (if I remember) for the effort.  Never give up, right?  Good job.

In hopes of baiting WV back, here's a sweet young Alabama fan.  I wanted to post it before Smitty fell asleep.

Tell me if this is true or not? I heard from an old timer years ago at the hunting club, that for stumps, drill a hole in it and then put buttermilk in hole and plug it up. Said it causes stump to rot out fast. Anyone ever heard that?

Yeah. That was the scary time. Doctors were giving me IV antibotics every 4 hours. I wasn't getting enough oxygen to think straight.  It scared my family bad.
