A belated good day to you all. My internet service is out, but my buddy has a portable WiFi that I'm currently using, but only temporarily since he has limited usage. Congrats on the pups, Smitty. Mama looks happy. We've had over 10 inches of rain in 5 days here and still raining. We ate at Hemingway's on the beach last night and a tornado (I think it was really a water spout) apparently followed us back in to P'cola. I'm tired of this mess, you guys can have it. Actually, I wish it had gone to Texas. They've got it really bad with the wildfires. Prayers to them. Another tropical system is forming in the gulf and is to affect Florida again, hopefully farther south this time. Katia is expected to go out to sea, but there is another wave that came off the coast of Africa expected to develop. Never a dull moment in September.

I was wondering what happened with you young man. I have eaten at the Hemingway's in Orange Beach for years. There is or was one at the Marina there. Glad you''re fine and don't drink too many Cape Cods. Just remember what you felt like after all those Corona beers!

Man, I've got an itch for some good seafood.  All we get here is catfish.  I miss the Belize instant seafood dinners; those tuna steaks on the grill were great.

Our rain seems to have stopped.  It's very cool (64 now) outside, damp, and dark.  Weird day.
